Iam running super soil right now and i was wondering if anyone waters or foiler feeds with compost tea who uses super soil. i was thinking about starting to because the grow store by me gives out tea every tuesday. so i guess iam asking if its alright to water or foilar feed with compost tea if your using super soil.

I cant see anything wrong with it, I havent heard to much about giving compost teas via the roots with super soil though. I've read sub and a few others give their flowering plants sugars at days 30 and 45 I believe so I was kinda thinking of doing a compost tea at that point seeing a fair amount of molasses or some kind of sugar product is used to get the compost teas going. Something to think about or try for me in the future anyhow.

yeah compost tea shouldnt hurt at any point really. its more about the soils microbial or mycorrhizal life

thank you for the responses......i think iam gonna start using the compost tea starting in the veg stage, like you said i dont think it could hurt...i just want to make sure its not over kill for the plant or the soil

I just fed mine with a tea tonight. It's the first time doing so with SS or in Roots so time will tell, but I wanted to give a boost of microbes to the soil systems. I didn't use any guanos though, just some local worm castings, alaskan forest humus, and a little kelp(and molasses of course). As stated, it shouldn't hurt anything.

id make sure if u r using it from the grow shop that its just a compost tea and not boosted with guano or anything else.. but it should be fine, i might start doing it again, ive done compost tea grows in the past and it was nice.. just more troublesome.

i think a solid super soil tea would be the one mentioned above, maybe consider adding some liquid karma and some azomite and hygrozyme as well.

Yea that is a great tea for supersoil. My brew has the same ingredients in it plus azomite and superthrive.
I was thinking of adding some roots oregonisms and maybe some liquid yucca extract. considering ill only be watering with this tea once every ten days or so

the liquid from actively aerated tea has insane amounts of dissolved oxygen and microbial life, and some very available nutes and enzymes and all that good stuff. its a good jump start for the rizosphere after the soil dried and u give it a water.
then u can top dress with any stuff left over at the bottom if need be.

Heres my brewer.

no feedings are necessary inna SS grow, unless def's are apparent, which they will not be. i top dress with a pinch of bone meal at start of flower, if that.
