So why are you arguing that Obamas stance is better than Romney on MMj if it doesn't matter?
to the extent that it matters, which is minimal, obama has a markedly better stance than romney on MMJ and the drug war.

do you grow MMJ? which option is better? one of them is inevitable. consider that, ronbot dreamer.

Yes but I have the common sense to realize that one isn't better than the other, which is something that you lack.

lol, you crack me up in a way that is wrong to laugh at. like laughing at a retarded kid or a midget on rollerblades.

behind door #1 we have the person who wants you to be able to grow your cannabis as long as you remain state compliant, and who has ordered AGs to make busting non-compliant growers a low priority. state AGs often have their own agenda and ignored this as is their prerogative. he also says the drug war is a disaster and that is time for a debate.

behind door #2 we have the person who wants you to got get some marinol pills from big pharma, and would bust you no matter how small scale you are. he doesn't even want the plant to exist in our nation. the drug war is just fine by him, no need to question it.

one is marginally better than the other, and one WILL end up in the oval office. which one do you want if you are choosing from the retardedly narrow angle of cannabis alone?

:dunce:

it would honestly look bad on obama if he said he was totally for legalization, im sure some people don't like ron paul because of that too(most of us like him for this reason, but remember most of us probably dont vote).
its a touchy subject in politics, obama knows a wide majority of people arent educated on mj, his approval ratings would go way down if he even attempted to make weed legal, it still wouldnt pass. a better, smaller step would be additional mmj states or just legalizing mmj, jumping straight for legalization is a long shot, most of the people that vote are still convinced marijuana causes cancer and makes you put babies in ovens. nation wide mmj is a good place to start, at least then the people who dont believe in recreation use will be more for it.
state laws are something that shouldn't exist imo we should all go by the same rules no matter where we are in america. if i was on the west coast right now i could be getting my mmj card and be growin legal but state law restricts this.

ROTFLMAO... do you ever strip your gears changing direction that fast?
Somewhere, I don't know if it was this thread, you were dislocating your shoulder, patting yourself on your back about how compassionate you are but your true self comes out... retard? midget? tsk tsk... not very compassionate there, ducky.

I think the government should just put out a bulletin that they are sorry for bothering people for so long over a damn plant sorry for the inconvenience...we will now use all the money we have freed up by stopping chasing a natural phenomenon and jailing people, to create a healthcare and public school system that isn't a joke....sorry for the war on drugs continue your lives

The "retardly narrow" angle of cannabis would make so many other things change it would be ridiculous...
Look up what happened when they ended the Prohibition of Alcohol...it ended the Great Depression...and I am a firm believer that ending the Marijuana Prohibition will end Our Great Recession...
Something has to change or things will keep getting worse...we are overspending to try and catch people farming...which is great for the environment BTW...I mean we spend more chasing MJ than we do teaching our youths...what the H? I mean really? Take away all this pointless moral hypocrisy and do what is good for the country and the people...

Well it is the government that worked so hard to make MJ sound so evil...could they not just reverse campaign if they so wished? I mean it isn't hard to desensitize people to things so they more readily accept it...it happens often. They just need to do something right, as opposed to everything wrong...

yep, obama should have acted unilaterally and spent his political capital on rescheduling cannabis. no way that would have lead to any "dictator obama" backlash sort of "soft on drugs" label that would have paved the way for sir willard.

as we all know, presidents and presidents alone have been what we owe our progress to entirely. it's not like we the people got out there and collected signatures to get initiatives on the ballot that we then approved. anybody espousing that theory is a crackpot and a troll.

man...you can not spin this...these are the facts... obama campaigned and said he would not interfere with states rights and use the feds as muscle to trump med mary laws passed in the states that approved them...HE LIED ...he did in fact take a large donation from big pharma and is using the feds as muscle to piss on states rights...i have never voted in my life..probably never will...i would not waste 30 seconds out of my day to vote for a scumbag piece of shit..and all pols are scumbags.... if obama wanted to be real and a true patriot he would have taken office day 1 and said ...you have 90 days to clear out every single troop and vehicle and piece of equipment from iraq....keep 5 k elite troops on the hunt for bin laden and the rest return home in less than 90 days in the rest of the region....this is still day 1 around lunch time... cut the defense budget in half...instruct all fed employees they will no longer be working marijuana cases and will be going for guns and meth and real crime....before dinner he should have had a list of hundreds of over seas military bases to be closed in 90 days..there are about 1,000 that we know of... if he did these things this country would be a much better place and have nowhere near the debt we have now... he is no different from bush or any other president...a bullshitter

he put out the holder memo instructing AGs to make it low priority.

the result? a flood of dispensaries. thousands opened up. unprecedented progress like we've never seen before.

have certain state AGs ignored the holder memo and prioritized MMJ higher? yep. they sure did and they can. what can you do? vote them the fuck out, just like we did up here in oregon. we just voted in rosenblum, who has the same position: make MMJ a low priority.

sorry bud, federally, MMJ laws don't exist. you can't just ignore congressionally passed federal laws.
