If you are limited on vertical space i wouldn't recommend doing this. Vegging with a HPS for a week or two will cause them to stretch quite a bit. My Colombian gold more than quadrupled in size from thier 18/6 size.

My light is about 1 and a half feet right now from the tops, it started out over 3 feet away at week 0 and I've inched down to it's permanent spot now.

This is for my 250w MH

Roughly three inches and six nodes, did my first lollipop of the initial one leaves on both plants wednesday (yesterday)

Hey VO, great lookin plants bro! Thanks for all the help you give everybody. what do you think of your 1000 BTU AC/Dehumidifier? I bought a Evap Cooler from Home DePOT to put in my closet, it works well for the most part (get it's to about 77-80 degrees with the lights on) minus the humidity (60-70%) so I'm looking to purchase a dehumidifier now. Does the dehumidifier work on bringing down the temp any?

nope. it will add to it. But the warmer the air is the higher humidity it can take, so just by running the ac it should lower it, Some units have a "dry setting". Most people use dehum's to add heat to a room after the lights go off.

Yeah you dont run the ac and the dehumidifier at the same time, you choose one on my unit
