I have done quite a bit of research and perhaps I think about it a little more than I should due to the fact that I have an extreme interest in Rare Dankness gear. It's an interest based on wonder and curiosity. The Ghost OG and Nevils Wreck I see and read about online tantalize me with temptation. Although I know close to nothing about Rare Dankness except what I read here and on KindReviews, Skunk Magazine, and Hightimes... I often see them get flamed. The trolls who flame them are doing so usually based on no evidence that the company has anything Subpar. The negative comments I read are mostly ignorant and biased. I think this happens when anything new or anyone new comes in this industry and proves some kind of success. In this case it's winning the cup and leaping into the retail world of seed selling with none of us knowing too much about the company. Obviously ICMag users have some familiarization with Moonshine man and some of the fruits of his labor.
One comment I just read and it wasn't neccessarily a bad comment, but just something that I think comes to mind with most of us...
Here's the truth tho.. Three Facts that No one can dispute..
1. Rare Dankness is working with Clone Only proven winners. Dank as hell cuts.
2. Nearly every other breeder out there is also selling F1's of Clone only polyhybrids crossed with other polyhybirds. Example TGA Plushberry, one of the most popular newer crosses out there.. Black Cherry Soda x Jacks Cleaner.. or Cali Connect Tahoe OG Kush x Just about every other OG or Sour Diesel X Chem.. blah blah blah... it's really nothing new.. everyone else is doing it.
3. Rare Dankness won the Sativa cup. Well if that's not proof that they work with some major Dank IDK what is.. not saying alll the cup winners are really that special but #1 Sativa.. that really says something.
I myself am not going to discount Rare Dankness as being ordinary or sub quality. I am going to give them a legitimate chance by growing some of their gear and then make an educated decision. I have some Venom OG now and am working on getting a couple other strains so in the near future I will know if pulling the trigger and spending $80USD a pack is worth it or not. One or two posts claiming someone got hermies isn't validity to say their gear is poor or not. Cannabis is a dual sex plant and hermies happen. I've seen preflowers from growers who grow TGA, Cali Connect, Bodhi, Mosca, etc. Sometimes it just happens. Sometimes it's the growers fault, sometimes it's just genetic and a bad phenotype.. with Cannabis it happens.
Me myself having experience growing unreleased untested gear from friends and breeders like Subcool and Alphakronik genes know that when you get a pack of seeds that you know virtually nothing about it can actually be an exciting experience. The phenotypes surprise you and to me part of the fun of growing is all in the pheno hunt. Select the keepers, harvest and toss the rest. It's one of the most rewarding things in growing cannabis from Seed. Self discovery of something Dank and something no one else has. We all hear of cuts like Kyle Kushman's strawberry cough, Kromes Triangle, Skunkmasterflex's Larry OG.. these growers found killer phenos from seed and people identify their selections by the growers name.. because they did the work and found something killer. There are a few people I know right now holding Batman's Space Princess... something most people will only read of.. because it's absolutely elite and only people close to me experience it.. that's how legends start and that's how these clone only legendary strains come about.. From seed. & who knows there could be a killer Moonshine Haze or Trainwreck Willie pheno out there that could be the next big deal.. Obviously is the famous clone onlys come about because they are Dank x Dank.. and Rare Dankness releases mostly Dank x Dank.. they have great potential.
I absolutely believe that this company has some real killer lines & that is why I am going to give them a chance. It is my opinion only and obviously I am entitled to it. I hope to share with you all what I find after I grow some out. Unfortunately I do not have the opportunity to be a tester as I am not in the right circle to get test beans so I will have to spend a little money... hopefully we will all know soon by proven documentation from our own community that this company has some real special lines.
& please no negative feedback. This is just me showing my opinion to the rest of the world. I do not wish to be flamed and nothing any of the haters can say will make me change my mind or think otherwise. I hope you all have a good day and enjoyed reading this. Hopefully it gives some optimism to those who like me have interest in this new company.

Well according to a post I read from Ms RD.. they are and were tested, at least some of their lines by other dispensories.. and from seeing the posts on Kind Reivews and Strainman I guess there is some legitimacy to her claim. We gotta remember RD is here to satisfy the medical community and the high times crowd.. somewhere we fit in there too.. but obviously the companies #1 priority wasn't to prove to us that the seeds they sell are proven stable before they went retail. Not saying that's entirely a bad thing, because for all I know they good have some real winners. His personal Tax info showed he made 3.1 million between 2010-2011...on ADVERTISING Alone....Im sorry, he has nobodies Interest in Mind but his own. You couldn't get Danko to save 100 prego women from drowing a horrible death unless it involved him making a buck. Worse than a bloomberg in NY is a Danko in NY claiming to have some truth.
