Website: http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/ams-feminised.html
Method: Hydo ---> Ebb and Flow
Light: T5 for seeding, 1000W HPS for veg and flower.
Nutes: Technaflora's BC lineup

I've got 2 weeks left with this sexy moma and I gotta say it was a blast. First of all, it was my first grow, but nonetheless this what I've got to say:

All feminized seeds sprouted no problem. A really resilient plant. I know I had the lights a little bit far away for the first month or so they stretch out a bit; fixed this issue and I think the plant just wants to stretch, but did decrease in further node lengths (this could be due to HPS' light spectrum as well, but meh). I think it was mostly the sativa mix that caused this attribute; I would have like to have seen it bit bushier, but topping the plants helped a lot. I was able to top the plant often (giving a few days of rest) without much stress at all. The Cola's are amazing though with orange hairs just like the website shows. If you click on the pictures on the website (URL above) they look exactly like that, especially with the orange hairs! There has a been a couple (but few) times where the pH has dropped below 5.8 (~5.6) and the plant never showed much stress. Once you get the watering schedule dialed in, you can sit back and watch. :)

I was using Technaflora's BC Nutrients and started around 600 ppm and am now up to 2250ppm for this last week of flower (slowly brought it up) and they've been doing great. I noticed a bit of a leathery look appear once nutes were introduced (could have been overwatering a tad at the beginning), but they grew up and I could start adding nutes no problem. I plan on making hash with my Bubble Ice Bags with the sugar leaves and will let you know how it and the bud turns out.

Bottom Line: I would recommend this strain, especially for beginners. The aroma is awesome with a very small hint of that sweet fruit smell every now and again. They don't stress out much at all! Plus it's a nice mix of sativa and indica so it should be a nice, non-overwhelming high. The website states ~20% THC. I think I might grow another batch if I like it as I've become attached, the tri's are amazing looking. But I might try to grow a hash plant next as well, we'll see.

Check out the website for the grow session video from start to finish.

P.S.
I am in no way affiliated with the company nor am I trying to endorse their product for them. Take my input as is, as a fellow grower.

I'm glad to hear that your experience with Green House Seeds and their AMS is going so well.
I had received an AMS freebie awhile back that I attempted to grow, but she never made it through flowering.
I hope she harvests and cures well for you, good luck.

I bought one of there feminized 5 packs and AMS was just an odd ball mixed with the 4 others i wanted. And wow, i was really impressed with the AMS. Sadly I didn't keep any cuts of her. My patients were disappointed that I didn't keep her around as well. Do you know what AMS stands for?

I heard it stands for Anti-Mold Strain, but I'm not sure about that, as this strain name is literally A.M.S. but I've heard of other strains where they have a name followed by (AMS) (ie. Purple Kush Lime Grape Explosion (AMS) ) lol and in that case it would stand for anti-mold strain. So I'm not too sure really.

Nice looking plants, looks as if you had some heat issues at canopy level though.

Ya know I have only had two exp with green house seeds. First one was a horrid mess with Kings Kush. Hermie put pollen on everything in tent.

But then I grew out their cheese, and found the most blueberry tasting strain I have ever smoked. It has nothing to do with the exodus but is a mighty fine skunk selection IMO. No hermie, no issues just tasty dank. From a single fekin seed.

Idk, haven't gave them a grow around again but maybe in the future.

Best of luck with the AMS. She looks pretty promising. All the best~

I did, yup... I actually had to build that wooden frame the light is on now. It gave me an extra 2 ft to work with. Should be fine for this go 'round, but like I said in the first post - I would have went to flower sooner.

Edit: Definitely going to get a cooltube or reflection dome for next grow.

What did you like about it? How did it taste? How was your yields? Are you sick of my questions?

I have grow from GGS the Super Silver haze, the Super Lemon haze, the Cheese and the Green-o-matic. The most crap weed I have ever cultivated. Don't waist your time with GreenHouseSeeds. They mostly invest their time NOT in breeding good and stable strains, but rather in colouring seeds, or design new T-shirts and hats. I beleive this company is suited only for "tourists" and not for the serious grower.Peace.
