Some plants are yellowing, Week 9. What do?

Plants are in week 9... flowering.. but suffering. I know I've done wrong: I have a pH kit but don't know how to use it. I was ignorant and thought that if I used ProMix BX grow with some lobster compost mixed in it'd be a nice neutral soil so that if I add fertilizers it "should just work". Now I know that was stupid and I should have been testing pH every time I watered. But too late for SHOULDA... now what do I need to do?

Three of the plants still look alright, attached pics of the good ones and bad ones. You'll be able to tell which are which. The yellowing is like a pigmentation chanage all throughout the affected plants, not like concentrated on the outside of leaves or anything. I appreciate your wisdom and kindness to a noob who doesn't know any better! Thanks!

i wanna say that everything is good cause the plant will yellow in the later parts of flowering ive heard im not a pro though

it just looks to me like the bottom plants are yellowing due to the plant pushing the available nutrients to the top and the buds for reproductive growth. Seems fine to me but what do i know i have never grown anything

the no ph'ing anything had nothing to do with how the plants look m8 ime.. it's more to do with a lack of nitrogen later in flowering as nitrogen is what is used by the plants to keep things green...

there is usually a pretty significant drop off of nitrogen ferts in most flowering nutes that are available today as people think that nitrogen is not as important in flowering as it was in veg, which is why so many people who strictly use only heavy phos flowering nutes for flowering have lots of yellowing leaves as flowering goes on, the plants use up all the available nitrogen and therefore they go yellow..
by simply continuing to use nitrogen throughout flowering they yellowing should come to a minimum or possibly even stop all together ...

they will be fine this time around, all though you may lose a bit of weight due to the lack of healthy leaves as leaves grow buds, so by creating a happy healthy green canopy and maintaining it through out flowering, the plants will always produce their best buds possible..

Relax it's natural for fan leaves to yellow in flowering.

I've often wondered about this. Sure you might need higher amounts of P and K, but what is the negative aspect of continuing to pump in nitrogen? I've not really seen any real reason for dropping it off.

They'restarving dude.. And that is no where near natural.. Only reason so many peoples plants turn yellow is cause they starve them with all these bloom boosters and forget all about the nitrogen which is what keeps the leaves green hence healthy producing energy for the plant..

Great info guys! What is a good high nitrogen feed I should look into? I have been using this kit that's supposed to have all the important stuff, made by General Organics. I would love recommendations on A) what I should do to increase nitrogen immediately and try to un-starve those plants and B) a better line of products to fertilize my plants during veg and bloom. God how long did you plan to bloom them? This is what you should expect. You should be looking at doing final flush. This will make them more yellow.This is desired, this is saying hey fella where almost done cookin! Rejoice your there. Now you no approximitly how long it takes to get them there with you particulare set up. Grow,and estimated bloom times are just that an estiment! This will vary depending on your nute regiment and light set up.

it looks fine bro, the plants will start to turn colors and drop leaves like that because it thinks is fall time (nearing the end of the growing season)

Keep in mind everyone, these are in there 9th week of bloom.It also looks like those bottom leafs, are original to the veg (first ones). The fact that they are still there, through veg, then through nine weeks of bloom, and just now,as they are the oldest starting to die. Look at the wither on those dead leafs, you guys,especially, those who have grown awhile. They are dieing of old age! These are annuals. They run their course and die. I think being a neewbie he has done a re-markable job on his first go! racerboy,your comments on continuing to give your plants n during bloom. exellent, It IS important. A must,a plant running out of its capacity to process p-k, will need a continued reg of n to continue the bloom process, to its potential. It will keep blooming but will never reach its genetics potential.

awesome thanks for informing a noob on what's going on. my previous grows have failed miserably, so this is my first time at week 9. did not know what to expect. I'll increase the N next time during bloom and getting ready to flush end of next week I suppose? Thanks guys!
