My understanding is that 25 miles from a dispensery will be grow your own in AZ.What are the plant limits there? Are there any nice areas in the state to live that promise to be 25 miles from a dispensery.
24 in veg, 12 flowering. thats how it was before i moved away from AZ last year anyhow IIRC. Theres gonna be plenty of places to live that arent within 25 miles. I cant say exactly where as there are no dispensaries yet. I know Flag is getting 2.. There wont be any dispensaries for a year I heard from a friend... but DHS is issuing dispensary permits in august so unless they get their meds in from out of state (not even sure if thats legal or not) there wont be operating dispensaries at least for a little while... theres time that you could still get a harvest in or two.

Have you guys heard any word about the new qualifying conditions being added? Whether they were approved or not yet? Probably not.. im usually on top of AZMMJ stuff but i feel like ive been out of the loop not living there for a year now...

No it is 12 plants total for patients. And caregivers may have 12 plants per assigned patient up to 5 patients meaning up to 60 for caregivers or 72 if the caregiver is also a patient.
thx for clarification. i knew you could have 12 plants in flower, thought i remember reading before they were issuing cards thats you could have 24 in veg too, could be mistaken though, that was quite a while ago and my memory is *ahem* not the best :D

I wishes those were the limits. That would be great.

Have you checked out northern arizona at all? Its a completely different world up there. I dont mean "up there" as in north, i mean up there at 7k+ elavation. Mild weather for the spring and summer, fall gets chilly. Doesnt really get much hotter than the mid 80s. maybe a couple days in the low 90s on the hottest day. watch out for winter though... 2011 new years... -27 degrees and 5 feet of snow on the ground and im not even bullshitting one bit!

......I have never been to N.AZ..I see from movies that it is very nice.Thing is the flicks never tell U what the temps. are,so I'm in the dark as far as that goes.Don't know if there is elevation in S.AZ.,but have been in elev. in N.Mex.nice green treesy hills with springs and creeks in the middle of the desert, very nice if U don't have to come down very often.

Id check out Sedona, Flagstaff, or even Page. Ive never been to page the elevation might not be that high, its really close to utah border but sedona and flagstaff are both really chill spots with a great climate. i had a huge garden back in flagstaff, 30-40 tomato plants, bunch of corn, sunflowers, peas, peppers, lettuce.... all that shit. we had to water often because the soil condition wasnt the greatest and was kinda sandy but if you used your own fill soil or even a raised bed you wouldnt have any problems with sun scorching unless it was a really abnormally hot day. it really doesnt get above 90 degrees much at all but usually stays mid 70s to mid 80s pretty consistently. monsoon season should be rolling around shortly too which will lower the temps even further. Flagstaff literally has the most perfect weather Ive ever stepped foot in aside from the subzero winters...

That looks like pressure treated lumber but you still need to get it off the ground, dont you?

Lots of children drown in pools so they make you put a six foot enclosure around the pool. You can use wrought iron for the fence and kids can see the oh so tempting water and they can put their hands through.

But Cannabis requires 10 feet fencing enlosed, locked gates, cant see through, etc, etc. For the children of course, It has never killed anyone like pools that have killed thousands?.

Do we have sane government?

shade tent under construction. this will house all my veggies and 3 fat ladies. i'm also ordering a small boy with an upgraded filter soon so everything will be organicView attachment 2191711View attachment 2191712

CU05: Can cultivation be done in a greenhouse?
Cultivation must be done in "an enclosed, locked facility." A greenhouse is included in the definition of "enclosed, locked facility". However, to meet the definition of "enclosed, locked facility," the greenhouse must be equipped with "locks or other security devices that permit access only by a cardholder" or surrounded by "solid 10-foot walls constructed of metal, concrete, or stone that prevent any viewing of the marijuana plants, with a one-inch thick metal gate."

when you click on the link, it takes you from the FAQ's to the official rules where it states -

6. "Enclosed, locked facility" means a closet, room, greenhouse or other enclosed area equipped with locks or other security devices that permit access only by a cardholder"

it will have a latch and master lock on it, as well as a 100 pound german shepherd on patrol. most of it will be used for fruits and veggies, just a corner for maryjane, but if the cops freak out(and i dont see why they would) then ill just have to keep mary inside. anyway, i got some more done this weekend

Yah , you can try Bagdad az or another remote town. The F-ing 25 mile rules pretty much kills the legal personal grows in Phoenix.
One opens in the middle of Phoenix and BOOM done. Can't wait till they open the 110 dispensaries.
I'm all for the opening of dispensaries as long as I'm able to keep my cultivation rights. But, I fear that we are going to get screwed buy the dispensaries. "GREED"

When they post the locations I bet there is a boom in the sale of maps, scales and those things U draw circles with...LOL..Would be great if home values went up outside the 25 mi.limit.the Pols. would trip themselves trying to reduce the distance to get more taxes. Are there guards to prevent there being more dispenceries from being allowed. What is the cheapest 10 foot fence idea?

the number of dispensaries is tied into the number of pharmacies which in turn is limited by the population in each area. for every ten pharmacies there can be one dispensary. that means there are 1260 pharmacies in the state makes you think.

Those pharmacies have to be spread out so everyone including reservations have access. Disps have to spread out also so some disps in remote areas.

The people who wrote the rules have made sure that almost everyone is covered under the 25 mile rule. There will be exceptions but there will be barren desert for many a mile

who wants to move to bum fuck though?
i know right. i thought about buying a trailor in the middle of no where. then i realized i would have to actually go there to make it work. lol. it seem like the program is on the verge right now of a major shift. all i know is that there are almost 30,000 patients and someone will have to grow all that medicine and from what i have seen so far very little of it is produced locally. so therefor if you are a grower and local and you have some wits i dont think that finding a way to grow will be hard. oh and once the 25 mile rule starts to come into effect, there will be many pissed of noob grower patients. should be interesting to see how it goes down.
