Without taking sides, this is fucked up. His bond was determined by the money he had. Then a website was made or financial legal support. He made it, but it could of been anyone and transferred the money to him for his defense.
From what it looks like, ANYONE who is out on bond, and anyone raises money for the person for their defense screws over the accused. If the money raised is considered unreported assets, and can be used to review and increase bond, helping someone is actually hurting them. When I was working one job and paying child support, I said I would need a 2nd job to help pay it. I was told getting a second job would increase my support and there was no way to get ahead.

You might want to pay attention... The website was set up BEFORE the bond hearing...so when they said they had no money Zimmerman and his wife lied, because they had the money from the website that had been already set up. Please get yourself informed before you choose not to pick any sides,as you seemingly pick a side

I happen to think the drug war is the prime destructive force in America today. It is the root cause of the erosion of civil liberties. So, naturally I can't support any candidate for president who wants to continue down the present path to totalitarianism. Obama voters and Romney voters are complicit in the whole mess. I have some respect for those who believe the drug war should continue because they genuinely oppose the use of drugs on moral grounds; I think they are misguided, but at least they are not hypocrites. Those who engage in the drug business and want the WOD to continue because it keeps their profit margins high, though, get no sympathy from me; they are drug warriors and fair game.
