Ok so after being up in humboldt and working for a big commercial grower, I finally gained the confidence to grow my seeds that I have been holding onto for about 10 years now. (I know I know, don't say anything, they are defying science and growing well!)
I planted them on early april. They are all indica's. I do not know the name of the strain, so I call it... TIGERS EYE! ^^
The amount of info I have gained this year is insane. But the more I learn, the less I know.
OK so, I am putting them under a 24 hour light schedule, bringing them inside at night, and outside for sun. The light that I have is HPS 150 watt I believe. Nothing big, was given to me, its just enough to keep em' in veg cycle.
I am training them. Brought them horizontal once, let it grow for a second, then made the new dominants horizontal, further distributing the auxins. I think I am done with the training, each have about 12-15 dominant branches that are about 1 ft 2 inches high. The plants are doing well.
I would like to flower one of them to get some medicine. I am in pain, and out of moneys. At the height that it is now, would it be better to wait for it to grow taller? Meaning, would I be selling myself short if I flowered it at 1' 2"? or would it not be that much of a difference in QUANTITY? If so, how much of an ESTIMATED difference would it be you think, if I were to just let it grow bigger? Would it be a waste?!
I intend to let the rest of them grow pretty big before I start flowering them. (patience.......)
I have spent hours trying to get information on force flowering TRAINED plants, not much info out there. Lotta people are focused on just training the plants themselves. Not sure how the dynamics change from flowering a horizontal plant as opposed to a vertical.
I apologize if I am leaving you in the dark, please do ask me questions to further clarify information. I feel like a mother with newborns in each arm.
any informations are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
