TGA's jack the ripper & sannies' killing fields are reported to be serious trippy fun. i KNOW nothing i've ever smoked embarrasses jack's cleaner 2. it's trippy in a weird touchy feely way like some diesels and inspires imaginary invisible colors. it has a little bit of a stone going on, but nothing that squashes motivation. made me laugh good when i realized how trippy it was
there are some really good jack herers out there. super silver haze and jack share the exact same lineage actually only with different breeding orders so jack leans more towards haze and SSH stonier NL#5. if you're after highs, jacks should be better than super silvers. besides the JC2 i really liked, CH9's jack showed some nice potency without being as stony as it's chubby leaves would make you think and word has it that sannies' and sensi's jacks are real deal "indoor hazes" too.
high quality seeds' haze x skunk... super duper potent with modern density & resin count. stronger high than columbian gold. maybe longer lasting, and definitely less fall off to stone after a month of wake and baking with early enough harvest. not the best tasting strain, but not harsh or as expansive as you'd expect for the potency. $28 @ 11 dirt cheap. just a little trippy but great euphoria, motivation, and medical ability to tune at least hunger out. the stone was never much worse than some lead eye. it seems that 12.5% is the magic number it takes to get afghani to STFU like it won't do in skunk #1 at 25%. their fruity thai skunk isn't as spectacular and was similar to a common good jack or haze
DNA genetics sweet haze is an exceptional fruity haze. it has a nice potent clear headed euphoric type haze buzz that's common between breeders, but with some light trippiness in early flowering they don't have. if there's a better haze out there, i want to try it. oh yeah... this haze flips to flowering quickly and makes sticky good buds way faster than any haze in it's right mind should but not quite as fast as sativa trans love with it's more common haze buzz in an insanely fast budding strain.
if you want the best activity sativa in the world, get 17 week kali mist. it's just pure shroom level bliss with can't sit still if you try clear headed racy motivation. C99 is very similar, especially when you count the 8 weeks that takes. it would be a terrible strain to have as your only one though. it'd keep you up at night and talking during movies. for catching up on work you hate though, it's the best.
cinderella 99's son apollo 11 is mellower and trippier with higher euphoria, but also a fast finishing strain with a genuine high buzz and low odor habit. that and super silver haze was what everyone was calling the "best indoor thai" back around '05. after seeing how clear headed and racy cindy is, i'm inclined to think that the couchlock i'd heard about was more of a mellow to neutral thing than actual stone as a buzz that's mellower and trippier than C99 would be a lot more fun more hours of the day.
durban poison has a nice mellow high, but is interesting for it's authentic licorice flavor. unlike much stronger haze skunk, it not only expands like crazy making you cough, but for some at least, the licorice flavor adds "poison" dry heaves with every hit too. it's a really interesting strain to pull, especially on someone who hasn't gotten high yet or even tried a flavor strain
i really love 8 miles high. it was the first real high i'd had since durban poison & kali mist a decade earlier in the 90s and it impressed me with just how right it's mellow high feels. there's no stone, but no racy paranoia either. in fact, it's like there's a hole in the buzz where you'd expect those to be that amounts to a cheerful "why would i want to mess with your energy level?" playful euphoric buzz that isn't too much of anything except fun maybe. 24/7x365 bliss. other strains might be stronger, but they don't have the refined manners 8mh does. i equate the buzz with an old lover that knows exactly where and how to touch you giving you a full body massage. maybe it has a little more psychoactivity than common hazes because the buzz just felt so right. then again, maybe it was the super precise body control effect i got that was similar to the floaty light body effects i remembered from columbian gold. if this were available on every street corner since the 80s, the world might not be on the brink because of greedy useless fucks that just gotta go. i know i'd be a happier camper at the very least with a constant headstash of 8 miles. i have deep nostalgia for it i guess.
