The Anti-Gay Politics Need to Stop

I totally diagree. The US is one of the only places where democracy can benefit gay people. The US has the potential to lead the world in gay rights. I mean, really, the USA already kisses ass and often sucks county's dicks, so how different are we from fags, really?
sadly what you overlook is that it will "help" them in the way the majority sees fit, not necessary the way we feel is "right", because that is the way of democracy.

you must change their opinions, not ridicule them for there shortcomings.

I doubt you will believe this, but until recently I have been very pro gay. I have a gay sister in law, and lots of gay friends. I was for civil union before they did it in Vermont. But now gays collectively have pissed me off. The solution is obviously civil unions with equal rights, but I am opposed to hijacking the term marriage. It adds nothing in the way of legal rights, and it seems to me the motive is only to get in the face of those damn hets. I even fired my barber of 25 years over it.

Rights are gained in a variety of ways. If the first right gets thru the door.....so may the second right and the third. Democracy can be slow. I can tell you point blank that one day, gays will have lots more rights. And you will only be able to slow progress - not stop it! One day, the seeds of change will be ready for harvest and the country will give way our inalieanable rights: that all men are created equal. And we live to persue life, liberty and happiness! The wall will fall like the berlin wall.....great leaders will make sacrifices for change just like MLK jr and Malcolm X....and you will be pushed out of the way if you don't move out of the way

That is the usa

I dont believe in homos man I believe in people who have mental problems that need sorting out man. They should not be accepted in society if they want to do something they can do behind closed doors
How can you not believe in something that is real? And as far as I can tell.. they aren't asking for the right to butt-fuck each other in public.. they do keep that behind closed doors. They just want to be quit being attacked by ignorant people.

Despite the fact that I, for the most part, agree this is nothing more then our opinion, and, as much as you may disagree, here, in the USA, one opinion is only as valuable as each other one (or so we tell ourselves).

What is right and wrong is not decided by some divine power but by what the most people feel is right and wrong. we can disagree with the principles of democracy all we want but its not likely to change in our near future.

Thus if most of Americans feel the opposite of what we may or may not believe, then we are in actually wrong by our own standards..........

Thats the hard part for most of us Americans to swallow. No matter how strongly we feel something is right or wrong, we are still wrong if the majority feels differently.

On the bright side tho, being right and wrong is often nothing more than semantics...... dates and locations. Everything changes and every place is different, find a place that at this time fits your needs. If that place changes then you can either change to or find a new place that fits you better.
A majority doesn't decide morality, it only decides what is legal. What is right, is not always legal, and vice-versa.

The term marriage? It's just a word. And with the high divorce rate these days, it's not even a good word lol.

I'm straight but i'd rather be in a "civil union". Marriage reminds me of child molesting priests anyway.

Meet kelly4's dog.
You've said a lot of senseless shit, but this totally confuses me.

Are you trying to say that I'm antigay? Funny, because I've clearly stated that gays don't bother me and that they should have the right to marry. Buck and Carne even "liked" the post.

Or are you still butthurt from what I said about Gandhi?

Since the first lines true, it must be Gandhi........LOL!

YOU MAD!
