I personally don't see much of a problem with these type of threads. Well as long as there is no real personal info shared. I could post a pic of me here, you could search RIU for my occupation, you still wouldn't find my true identity. I think it is up to you to reply or not. Just because some people are curious about who they interact online with doesn't mean they are the police.

i just don't see why a cop would gaf about what price we pay for our bud, or what kind of job's we have as a group.. i mean how are they going to use any of this type of information to create more busts?

oh, i'm not niave enough to think that they are not on this site and many other's like them.. if they weren't, i'd think that they weren't very good at their jobs..
but i'd think that they'd more sit back and watch for larger grows, people selling, shit like that, but who knows how the mind of a pig works, not me said the bee..

If I were a copper, I would most certainly lurk at this site, and others like it.
Not to fish, mind you. That would be unproductive.
I would do it to learn the culture.
To learn growing and stealth techniques.
To look for the signs that a grow is on the premises.
And yes, a local yokel might get lucky when some dumb shit posts his grow and is not careful with personal information online.
Or he may snare someone who is looking to buy in his area. Not allowed here, but it happens from time to time.
But those two examples would be the exceptions.
A smart copper would be here to gather intelligence.
Know your enemy.
I occasionally lurk at cop sites for that very reason.
Just to see what's going on in their pea brains.
