in the 1970's a while i was living going to school in Calif ,a classmate give me a plant that looked like that ,i had never seen any weed plant like he gave to me ..I was used to seeing/growing everything sativa ..Came to find out later it was a indica..Smoked really well oh yes ,kicked the sativa's ass i was growing ,also has a different smell than any weed i had witness..I'm not saying it's indica..If the seeds are really old you just don't know......

Thanks man! First good feedback! Now i have some hope. Chances are these seeds are from the 70s this kids dad had a whole can of them in his basement labeled "weed seeds" haha

Really sorry again 420noobie but that is not a cannabis plant - regardless of what your friend and you think.

Look at how the leaves are setup... So cannabis has palmately compound leaves; that is to say that each leaf is comprised of 3-13 individual leaflets which are connected to a central point.

Both same type of leaf.


So cannabis can vary in several ways. Some strains have thick leaflets (indica dominant), some have thinner leaflets (sativa dominant), some have fewer leaflets like duckfoot and maple leaf, but they are still all the same type of leaf.

What you have pictured is a plant without compound leaves... Yes, they are palmately lobed, but they are not compound. That is NOT cannabis. Sorry.

And no, that is not a mutation that can occur in a single generation.

Like I said! aliens made that shit! Gonna harvest 3000lbs, or for your European folks, 1360 kilograms. The broader leaf structure allows the plant to maximize light intake.

A cannabis seed producing a plant with palmately lobed leaf would be about as probable as your mother giving birth to a dog.
