Thanks Psua! My opinion on the TBB is that it is a very nice connasseur strain. Growing it was painless/not finicky with the nutes and was able to take high doses with little burn/no mold so I'd say resistant enough/smells spectacular/DOES NOT like LST early in veg so probably better off topping if it doesn't just prefer au natural. I would love to have another crack at this strain because I know I can pull a better yield off them next time. I'm sure it will smoke just as good as it looks and smells.Really nice job puff...........Specific opinions on the TBB?growing ease/nute requirements/smell/resistance to mold and pests/etc?????lol lotta questions......sorry puff.....just enjoy pretty girls

Definitely a keeper, wish I had some seeds or a mother, or at least access to more clones. A repeat would be great and I'd jump on it if I ever cross paths with the strain again or will be on my next seed purchase list. Next round im leaning toward some ken's graddaddy or girl scout cookies,probably going to roll with both unless something crazy and exotic catches my eye.

That ken's gradaddy sounds great, is it available in seeds or just from clone? One thing I like about 12/12 from seed is I get to smoke many different kinds of weed in a short period of time ... without buying any weed (having to buy the seeds though!! but I enjoy every single time I am doing it)

Yo curly! Thanks for the compliment! When I started out with this round my goal was 6oz (1per plant). Im guessing dry will be between 4-5 falling short of my goal because of the TBB yield (which I believe I decreased by trying to LST too early in veg) Everything should be dry enough for an official weigh in by next weekend, plan on chopping the HP around Thurs or Fri.

Hows it going everyone, Puff you seem to have a ton of fans, way to go on the grow, the two strains look to be top notch all the way....... Cant wait for the weigh out and smoke report, Im really pullin for ya, i think your going to be really close to your goal on this one!!!!!
Its really nice to see that there are at least a few growers out there who are advancing the science and really providing the rest of us with not only entertainment but relevant proof, I really appreciate your drive, your willingness to provide many of us with the details and insights you have gained throughout each of your experiments, I LOVE PLANTS. Anyways, great journal and awesome superb stupendous outstanding phenomenal grow!!!
Below are some photos of my new light, like i said i havent been able to use it yet, but boy i cant wait, its everything i asked for and more with a great price tag, seriously if this grows the way i expect it to ill be that much closer to hammering out the perfect spectrum mixing formula. Hope you like the pics (sorry they are taken with a phone), let me know if there was anything else you wanted to know.
for those of you who are curious, this is a 528 watt led light i custom designed and had built with a custom spectrum layout that i devised through my experience with quite a few other led lights, specifically the ones that worked best, Adv.LED cough,16 clusters with 15 3 watt av. leds per cluster, custom heat syncs and fans, and a few other things like daisy chain feature, 2 switches so i can run half power if i want, etc... and thats a size 13 shoe for size comparison, as you can see the light is ridiculous. Lol!

Thanks for stopping in, doctorcanna! Wow, you read the while thing huh? Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it and found it entertaining at least. I've been greatful to have an awesome group supporting me here at riu, I do it for the community hoping to shed some light on growing with leds. I appreciate all the compliments and hope you stick around, I'll have a dry weigh in next week and a new journal soon.
Congrats on the light, it looks badass! That's a lot of firepower you got over those buckets, I'm sure the girls that end up in them will be happy. What sort of spectrum are you trying out? it would be cool if you would start a journal, or if not, feel free to hop in one of mine to keep me updated. HP went dark last night and will be chopped tomorrow afternoon at 36hrs of dark. TBB is dried and will be trimmed and manicured tonight. This means that i'll also have a preliminary smoke report tonight too. Then a nice long cure for them. New journal up tomorrow once I get my new clones. Peace and I make a rich woman beg.
