And can you guys stop saying "indians" we are Native Americans, not from India. Common mistake tho.
Wait! Is it not okay to call native American's, Indians? Why and when did that become offensive and am I to say "Native American casino" instead of "Indian casino"? What am I to call the Indian motorcycle now?

A lot of natives I know like being called American Indians. Native American is a general and GENERIC term used to lump in many pacific islanders too.

Columbus called the natives ‘Una genta in Dios.’ A people in God. In God. In Dios. Indians. It’s a perfectly noble and acceptable word.

Fuck "Native American." You want to know what Indians wanna be called? Cherokee, Blackfoot, Delaware, Massachuset, Narraganset, Potomac...

The reason we got started being called indians was because colombus thought that he made it to the east indies.. therefore dubbed the natives indians, but that is wrong. Its not an ok or noble word. Pacific islanders are not lumped into it either, they very specifically call themselves what they are, samoan, tongan, etc. Dont tell me about it. Im Native American.

So being a Native allows you to speak for the rest of the tribes and multitudes of individuals that make up that tribe? Psshaww. Get that shit out of here, son. You're like the minority of black folk who's like,"I'm not black! I'm African-American."

An exerpt from http://www.narf.org/pubs/misc/faqs.html

Why are Indians sometimes referred to as Native Americans?
When referring to American Indians or Alaska Natives, it is appropriate to use the terms American Indians and Alaska Natives. These terms denote the cultural distinction between the indigenous people of the continental United States and those of Alaska. While the term "Native Americans" came into usage in the 1960s out of respect to American Indians and Alaska Natives, usage of the term has expanded to include all Native people of the United States and its territories, including Native Hawaiians and American Samoans.

I'll give you your due with the West Indies stuff, but I'm still sticking to the In Dios theory.

I use fish emulsion all the time and I have even made it myself from fresh fish (nasty process). I would DEFINITELY compost that fish first before putting my plant on top of it. It will expel gases as it decomposes that might not be good for your plants, on top of the animal problem.

Its funny you mention blacks, cuz I am also black. Even more so than I am native. And no you are wrong about me being a minority, most natives prefer ppl not use the term indians. We are not indians. We dont eat curry and worship cows.
And im sorry but you are wrong about your little in dios theory, it sounds plausible but we all learned in elementary about the whole indies thing. Remember, nobody knew north america existed, so when colombus landed on carribean islands he thought he was in the east indies, and so dubbed the locals "indians".

I know natives too man...I know natives too.

Elementary school....psshaww. The white mans schools can suck my indigenous dick.

I like you tho. So don't take my point of view as a personal attack on your culture. Fuck native. Fuck Indian, I would rather acknowledge your tribe than any generic term that the man used to demoralize and destroy the memory of individual civilizations.

Why do you label people at all? We are all human. Isn't that enough?
Who cares where someone came from. They're here. That's all that matters.

I'm sorry but if you're living in american you're not chinese. You're not mexican. You're not african. YOU ARE AMERICAN.

So just because someone is American doesnt mean they cant embrace their culture? Trust me man, im all about immigrants assimilating and everything, especially hispanics, they dont seem to adopt the american way at all but if everyone completely gave up their heritage it wud be a boring ass place to live.
