yes im not worried dude. its not like its a major hermie, theres only 2 nodes with male parts. the rest of the tops of the plant is all white hairs, im just gonna let them grow out bro, maybe ill just chop my lil girl earlier to risk it getting some pollen, then just let the other plants do there things. ill still get bud, i dont mind seeds, i can keep seeds cause im moving back to my old house with a huge back yard, and ill just drop them all in the back haha cause they forclosed the house on us but we got it back so the back yards a jungle. im already this far with the fireband and ill still get somne bud from her, plus the roots are connected to the other female in the bucket. i know hermie seeds most likely turn out hermie thats probly how i got the fireband. it did have seeds in the oz i got, it wasnt too bad so i bet they were hermies already, and the smoke was still good.

you could always just snip off those balls before they drop pollen. and its nothing to worry about, its not like your final product isnt gonna be dank, it already looks frosty. and nice, look forward to some bush grows then. it takes some measures to grow outdoor, but its well worth not paying for lights.

btw, its good your optimistic about growing, i got like 2/3 males the first time i grew but i ended up hitting the jackpot with the only girl i got, theres always a chance your gonna get lucky, just gotta keep your head up and treat them as if they never showed a male flower.

haha i know whatcha mean, i have trouble taking pics of all my bud sites sometimes due to that. is it showing up on all the tops or only some?

also, idk how to grow outdoors anymore, before when i was younger i grew on my roof!! haha so i didnt have to worry about bugs, but now im scared of mites,leaf eaters, and all that, plus i have a big dog that could tear them up. and when i lived there before my neighbors grew too but when i had plants by the wall they stole some nugs. i guess ill have to invest in some bug killer or sumthing, and put a gate up around my garden

theres 2 balls i seed on the fourth node, and then one of the bottom flowers has a couple on it, thats it, i count like 4 out of the 30 -40whit hairs or so lol

so theres a pretty good ration of calyxs to balls, thats a good sign. id just snip em if you can, wait till they're about to drop pollen so you dont keep cutting them constantly, they'll probably just come back worse if you do it too much. what are you planning to do with this harvest? if i could make a suggestion id say BHO or dry ice if you dont wanna be smoking pollen sacks, and it helps to be able to ingest something without the fear of smoking a seed haha.

i put up a reflector for a dashboard. it covers from top to the bottom of buckets. it seems to work pretty good cause instead of the room being all lit up its now way darker and bright by the plants. heres a pic. i think its mylar but its little circles idk works good tho.

very true, ill be out there, or in canada very soon. i would really appreciate it if you got some to spare bud, id gladly return the favor but they do have a policy on these discussions, id say just PM if your interested. btw, i think those reflectors are aluminum, i forget the name for those little circle but there certainly is one. i have a few myself, they work great but build up some calcium over time, nothing a little bit of salt and vinegar cant clear up.

theres plenty of preventative measures you could take, most of them not expensive either. i'd be glad to help you through any problems, really marigold flower, garlic, and a tad bit of canola oil are all i use to prevent mites, peppers and mint are also good for deterring mites, for flower however i only use neem, marigold flowers, sometimes garlic, and an even smaller amount of canola. these can be used on the top soil for it to be even more effective, i also recommend spraying it on the outsides of your pots. you might wanna look into stealth grow bags too, they have them online and some hydro stores.

hmm seems like alot of work but i guess it is needed. and i guess we are moving to a new house and the back yard has a big shed with a water sprocket and electrical sockets inside, i guess cause the house has a chicken coop in it its probly a old storage barn or sumthing. but seems like its gonna be perfect for growing. also my dog should keep any stray neighbors from venturing in

gotta do what ya gotta do i guess. and thats perfect, i used to have a shed just like it. make sure its well insulated and light tight. and nice, nothin beats security like a good guard dog. unfortunately i have a toy fox terrier

well a fox terrier would still let you know if someone enters your back yard haha. anyways ill get pics up of the plants soon, its getting hard moving lights so my babys can get light too, im probly going to have to get another light for that side. would 1 t5 and a t8 be good for seedlings?

hahaha very true, t5s put off more usable light and more lumens, all depends on the nm's of blue and red spectrum they put off for efficiency though. look up chlorophyll A and B if you really wanna know about usable light, id suggest VHO t5's and aquarium bulbs. they have a whole thread on how to make t5s work just as good as like a 400w, could cut it down to like the strength of a 150 though since these are just babies though.

So everythings doing great. the plants are about 3 inches from the lights and the top light is he highest it can go. the master frost popped and i have 2 afgani's that popped and a green crack that popped. the 3 skunks are doing great too with the t5 and t8. and the fire band i thought was a herm only had one male part show ive been picking off. its freaking huge. theres only 2 plants in the bucket and u can see its mega branchy. im going to cut my baby plant maybe in a week or 2. its half orange hairs. sorry about the quality of the pics, i used my laptop webcam
