Question about young plant watering...

I have 3 plants under 2 40 watt, and 2 32 watt cfls. They are about 2 days old since I planted them, about an inch and a half high, with 4 leaves. Approximately how much, and how often should I give them some water?

They are currently in 5 inch pots, so should I be watering them daily, or just whenever the soil seems dry?

This is how big they are, sorry its a camera phone pic

one of my babies is looking strange, and the serrated pointed leaves are point almost straight up, and the other two leavesm are kind of dropping down, what could this mean

I can't get your pics to come up...
water every 3-4 days only. the soil should be dry when you stick your finger in to the second knuckle. (app 1 1/2 ") no nutes or ferts for first 3 weeks, then at 1/4 strength at first make sure you have them on a 24/0 or a 18 on/ 6 off lighting schedule, get a fan on them to strengthen stems.

ok, just saw them, make sure the dirt goes right up to first set of leaves, this will minimize stem stretch, use hand test for light distance. place your hand at plant top. adjust lights so your hand is warm not hot. this is perfect distance for lights. of course as they grow you must either adjust the plants or the lights to keep that distance.
Dont' forget the fan!!! your plants should gently vibrate from the breeze

ok so just add more soil, so that much less of the stem is showing? As of now the stems around an inch / inch and a half out of dirt before leaves

Ok seems like im in good shape, I have a small fan circulating air and making them vibrate a little. My 40 watt lights are about an inch / inch and a half from them, annd the 32 watts are a little farther away cause they have metallic cones

What strenght fert should be used?

Sorry for the butt into your thread "theblindcamel". I have the same concern.

a good indicator of when to water is the weight of the pot, compare just watered to dry, let it dry out for a day or three and feel the weight. its better to underwater than overwater.
they look ok, not stretching.
if youd prefer to water daily try a hempy bucket instead of soil.
heres mine at 6days from seed
