You idiots are just now realizing why I asked for anecdotes? LOL Now that shows how stupid you are. I win either way, either you can't find any or you prove that only dispensaries and not individuals are being targeted. Now everyone here knows that truth as well thanks to the anecdotal reports. You were better off with vague news stories.

i don't support federal busts at all, i'm just inquiring into the state compliance here. you're the one who has stated that he is happy to see growers get busted. get it straight, rat.

i don't think pounds would go for $10 if legalized. maybe garbage weed, but organically grown, high quality, hand manicured bud has a lot of costs associated with it. the costs of supplies and utilities for me add up to several dollars per gram.

but of course you would have no idea about this, because you don't smoke, don't grow, and you're a rat.
Well, it stands to reason that the state police forces would make arrests in these cases if state laws were broken. What do we see though, the feds making busts and the local police doing nothing.

Premium quality Tobacco sells for about $5 per pound wholesale. I have cousins that grow Burley Tobacco in Kentucky for a living. They make an honest, middle class living and that's all. Why would cannabis be much different? I will grant that there might be a small, niche market for cannabis that has been fertilized by virgins and trimmed by Eunichs but most of you lazy growers are out of business the day it gets legalized.

It isn't like you would have fun either, who would you arrest?

and i'm truly insulted you would call me lazy, i work harder than any office desk jockey who works for 10 hours of his 40 hour work week. i've got 24/7 security detail for the next 4 months and when all that is over, i get a month in a row of trimming, no days off, working 8-14 hours a day.

i know, i know, you'll say "but it's a lot of work for me to slap some cuffs on growers". save it, rat douche.

I don't think lazy and grower should be used in the same sentence. Almost every one of my friends that grow either own a VERY productive dispensary or have an actual trade that they are good at. Who the fuck are you to judge?

not to mention, he doesn't even know what a successful grow entails because he's never done one before. yet he pretends like he knows what a grower does.

smells like rat to me.

The point is, most would not be doing the cannabis trade if it were legal. When cannabis is re-legalized, it will be simply a commodity crop like tomatos, cucumbers, cotton and Tobacco. Your friends that have an actual trade will go back to earning their livings doing their trades. Maybe they will grow some pot to sell next to their tomatoes and cucumbers at the farmer's market on Saturdays to make a few bucks, but when the prohibition premium is removed all the easy money goes out of it.
