time again for the progress report
7 weeks of flower, and progress is pretty good
2 weeks more, more packing yet to go, i'm feeling the 1 zip goal
but it's not done until the weigh in

i did some, didn't mention it, not an extensive LST, just enough to pull down the branches, kept everything a little more even

closer to foot tall side branches, no main stem since it was a reveg
they were getting a little taller/faster than i liked

week 8 of flower, and this girl is badly needed
down to my last bud, and it's a small bud
on the positive side, there is plenty of bud on this girl
fan leaves are just about shot, better feeding on the next grow
she'll probably be cut next week, get a side view before the axe

looks like she's ready to fall over :P . im guessin 34 grams
you're right on that one, 2 buds are on the edge of snapping their stems, which was kind of dicey when i popped it out of the grow chamber for a trichome check
still mostly clear trichs, may have to wait it out another week

9 weeks, and she's still alive
wasn't the plan, was pretty sure it was running ahead of last time
interestingly, the budding went faster, but the trichome maturity not so much
not seeing hardly any cloudy, and you ignore the trichomes at your peril
so another week, buds still seem to be packing weight, no complaints about more weight

where'd you get that chamber? looks perfect. Also, what do you use to hold your lights, i'm having trouble with figuring out how to hang em in my box, right now there in actual light fixtures...not very handy or knowing with electricity n shit.

Do you go cfl, straight to socket to powerbar, nice long hanging leader? how do you get cfls hanging nicely, that can connect to a power bar outside your box..and have them hang horizontally

ah yes, the chamber, i like that chamber a lot
it's a tube, 15 inches diameter, 38 inches tall
i made it from aluminum flashing. circular sections stacked up, sections held in place with duct tape
the top is a steel pizza pan, 3 26w light sockets mounted there, all cooled with a PC case fan
other materials could be used, i like metal with its 'fireproofness'

bulbs are mounted vertical, they surround a typical mj plant very nicely
just drilled holes in the pan, and mounted porcelain light sockets by screws
pizza pan was a natural fit, and very cheap
the idea came from garbage can grows, but the cans weren't quite the size i wanted
so i made a garbage can of my own

well, cutting time has arrived
sampled some popcorn, plenty of power and no edgy
and no edgy is my ruler
here's a side view to show the bud properly
for those interested, the reveg grow definitely beat the 1st one
weigh in a little later

my usual bud layout, and can for size reference, some bud out of view to the top
right around 90g wet, maybe another dry gram of dry popcorn on the plant 'stub'
the grow was better than the 1st, but still a little short of the magic(for me) zip point
however, it has been a good while since watering, bud should be low on water content
i guess dry tally to be around 22g, give it week for the dry weigh in

that concludes my cali-o femme experience, very good quality, buds were so sticky they would glue my fingers shut
moderately strong, but the moderation probably comes from its low anxiety traits, not a strain that will give you the 'noids'
bit of a stingy yielder, but good medicine

for soil, MG Organic Garden soil with some MG bone meal and dolomite added
for feeding, this was done with just a bone meal tea, molasses + MG bone meal(6-9-0)
but i have added alfalfa tea to the feeding mix since, was a little short on nitrogen
