Easy Poor Man's Fence?

1. Do people around you actually put signs in their yards about their neighbors plants ?
2. I agree with Cannabineer. Plant a hedgerow. Privets grow fast and are cheap. Talk to a nurseryman and tell him that you need cheap privacy fast.
3. I would throw some time release fertilizer such as Osmocote plus on the neighbors plant. They will see it and it will blow their minds. I bet they won't even mention it, lol.
Yes, yes they do. There are also the Haters that vandalize grows as in destroy and kill not steal and sell. If I catch one I am tying them up in the woods and leaving them to die.

You may be able to pull it off, I'm just saying you're inviting all kinds of trouble potentially. The higher profile you are, the more people come by to make sure you're being compliant with the laws.
Mr Mellow has for basically the above mention reason VETOED the Sunflower Fence AND the Hedge Fence... I may be able to overcome the Hedge Fence veto with more info or maybe the Sunflower Fence is I add into the scenerio a 3' fence as well... ANYONE? I may be crazy but I really don't see how I'm seriously going to keep this a secret. It is a much practiced thing where I live however, you just need damn fucking good security... I understand the front yard with no barricade sounds very daring and I am likely in major denial! Also, how much does anyone happen to know off hand would I need to budget for a pro tree guy to come take my tree? Thanks!

:bigjoint: Speaking of I'd like to hire Uncle Buck to sleep in my front yard once he has taken care of his Thief and no longer needs to gaurd his greenhouse.

It's not about keeping it secret outdoors, obviously almost impossible. It's that people don't dig if you don't give them a reason to. In our town, they leave you alone unless you are very obviously growing. Pretty much everyone grows here, but you can't tell by looking. Keeps the people who don;t grow quiet.

OK Let us begin pissing everyone off by openly proclaiming this fence and or greenhouse maybe? will be built with illegal labor. I live in cave near Pakistan if anyone inquires.

!. My 1 year plan included building a greenhouse if this summer's harvest allowed that in the budget. I believe Uncle Buck whom I am sad has neglected to comment on my offer of employment I can only imagine due to my lack of funds ;-) built his for $400? Can I build a Secure Greenhouse in my Front Yard? Isn't that more

Hey look at me I'm growing weed?

idk

The trouble with arborists is the same as with any other competitive pros. You can have it done cheap ... or have it done right. It's not impossible to have it done cheap and right (esp. if you hire illegals, directly or through the contractor) just as it's very possible to get ripped by the pricy guy with the shiny equipment. No easy answers. Sorry. cn

Your average laborer does not have the insurance to cover people's property damage if that tree drops wrong. Plus, you'd need a nearby mill to make turning that tree into boards affordable.
