Running 15.8A on a 15A breaker

I'm trying to do the best I can with what I have but yeah there's no going around this untill Monday. Is this gonna be okay? I'm feeling the breaker and it feels warm
basicly I've got two 15a breakers upstairs.

1 in my room(grow room)

one in my kids room

I've got my 1000 watt hps running on my room(9.5 A) and a 6.3amp ac sharing the breaker with the hps!
=15.8

On the other breaker I've got an ac in my kids room( cant unplug that!) running on 9.7 amps and I've got all my fans n shit running on that from a heavy duty extension cord.
=12 amps total

I'm being as careful as possible! On Monday I'm gonna go get another 6.3 amp ac for the kids room and ditch the 9.7 so this way I can run the two 6.3 ac's on the one breaker and my 1000 watt hps on the other. Any suggestions are welcomed for the mean time.
nothing has tripped but I wanna know if some breakers don't trip! This is a new condo btw so the electric is newer and the place gets inspected yearly

I litterally just finished wiring up a dedicated 15amp breaker for my room, its very simple cost $10 for the breaker that goes into the panel 40 bucks worth of 14/2 wire $2 for a junction box and $2 for the outlet. just make sure you have an understanding of how the breaker panel works and be safe, don't under estimate electricity!! but do you want to be the guy on the news that burnt down his place because of his grow op?

i also see why you dont want to add to your panel in a new condo though.. in my opinion i would probly unplug something but thats because im pretty paranoid, im not an electritian so i dont know how bad running .8amps over is.. sorry

The 1000 watt is gonna shut off in 4 hours so basicly I'll be ok but for 12 hours a day I'm gonna be sweating bullets untill Monday

why cant you run a couple extension cords from another outlet off another breaker?
wife is pretty pist about this whole op in our home it kinda just happend and the last thing she's gonna allow is cords running upstairs for her or our kids to trip over or for it to run up a wall. Plus the cord would have to run from our kitchen so id Need like a 100 footer!

lol man, I could only imagine what your old lady would say if the A.C. cuts off because of the light she don't want:cuss:... just keep an eye on the cords and outlets..feel for warmth..if it hot to the touch..shut something down...good luck

I just shut off the ac I'm paranoid now
Mo that's it's off there won't be any risk. Gotta just go get that other 6.3 amp ac and the issue will be dealt with

I hear ya bro. If you get the heavy duty extention cords (ie ac extension cords) you CAN run them from long distances like 20 feet. I did it for a while when I was desperate, but kept a really close eye on it. Just felt them to see if they got hot etc. If the breaker starts blowing that is a big red flag. Obviously the breaker should blow when it pulls too many amps, but there might be that 1 time it doesn't blow in time and the wire blows out, sparks and starts a fire. Generally most wires are going to be a larger gauge than the amps it is running, but you never know.

Oh, and obviously heat is undesirable, but if you can keep it under 90 degrees you should be ok. I had some fire dense ass buds that were in the upper 80s range. I wouldn't want to go over this.

Yeah I just turned off the ac for now, when the lights go off at 5am ill turn it back on but it's all good now. I spent everything I had on the ac I bought today but I can't be letting my kids roast in their room while my plants are nice n cool that's why I put the better ac in my kids room.. This damn heat wave hit Michigan at the worse time for me but I'll manage one way or another! Luckily the weather channel says that today was the hottest day for the rest of the week so that should help. I've never missed cold weather so much!

if you are in flower mode/12-12...I would keep off longer, won't hurt anything.
Well I've got the lights going on at 5pm (they have to go on at 5!) whats the soonest I could shut the lights off while giving them enough light to continue flowering?

I've been there man. I spent every dime I had for a solid 18 months on my setup. Seriously, I was broke all the fricking time. I just now have a few bucks here and there to spend. Every time I turned around I was spending cash on something I never thought about.
