Also sprayed today should i again in 3 or 4 days???

yeah and i have no intention to consume any of my 10 day old plant thats the thing u cant spray it during flowering, because u plan to smoke (consume) the inished product, this stays on the plant for 21-2 days then is gone, just about perfect for vegging.....

Ive used Floromite it works great! Id keep the plants outside for a week or more if you could. And would also hold off on taking clone.
Im trying Azamax out right now. Jus for preventative measures.

You are not supposed to reapply for 28 days.

Read the directions/fact sheet. Floramite is nothing to play around with.

Hay jumping on the thread!

I got mites and I sprayed AVID. one Week later I sprayed again.
In 4 days Im using Flormite and hoping its done deal.

I found this link useful,

AVID:
This insecticide/miticide has both contact and translaminar activity. “Translaminar” is a term that refers to insecticides or miticides that can penetrate the leaf tissue and form a reservoir of active ingredients within the leaf,
however, the miticide has no activity on eggs.

Floramite:
It has contact activity only, so thorough coverage of all plant parts is essential. It is active on all mite life stages, including eggs.

So to sum it up, Avid is Translaminar NOT SYSTEMIC and Floramite nukes everything including eggs but goes away shortly after its dry???

So am i ok to spray with floramite, say 1 week apart to just to be safe, i havent read any where 1 way or the other, also i do thave the label as i downloaded it onto my computer. My 4 girls inside are beautiful that i sprayed no signs of life, knock on wood, i just took 4 clones off of them ill keep u updated on how they are doing. But for now im still worried about them damn mites. I hopw the floramite works

FUCK I used avid twice, 4 days apart and still have mites.
How long does avid work for? I thought a few weeks of residue activity?

Sigh .....

You apply once/week all you are going to do is breed resistant mites that you will NOT be able to kill. I used to be a licensed applicator and know a bit about this.

Not only are you supposed to apply once/28 days (at the correct dilution), you should alternate miticides to prevent resistant buildup. I alternate with FORBID, which I also prefer over the Floramite. Both are good, Forbid is better IMO.

.You apply once/week
Wetdog, is it once a week? or once every 27 days?

In my case I used AVID day one and then on Day 4 and day 8 I have mites like crazy! ITs outside.
I have Floramite already ordered, I guess by Carrier pigeon as its been over a week now.

Please help me start from scratch, I have poopey webby vegetation leafs already, even after the entire Hazmat suit respirator application of AVID.

On my Indore grow I used AVID day one and Azomax day 5 and it was a done deal.

We even sprayed my fence, the grasses, the permiteres, we sprayed the dirt, the pots and still have mites from hell. They look healthy also!
Wetdog what is this "Transmodular" deal with AVID, does it work for weeks and weeks by soaking into the cellular level of the leafs or what?

Should I use neem to knock down the mites while my Floramite arrives?

Once every 28 days.

The REST of the sentence you quoted tells what happens if you apply too often. You get resistant mites that won't die.

I have zero experience with Avid. The Forbid that I like so much, does translocate through the leaf, so it's not as critical to wet all surfaces. You don't need to pH the water either like Floramite.

So far, using Forbid, I've never had to do a repeat application. Never. 100% dead, adults, larvae, eggs, with one application. I was impressed.

I have Forbid and Floramite to alternate, but Avid is also listed as a good alternate to either of those 2.

If you can find someone selling 1/2 oz of Forbid (~$20) it is well worth it. A few drops/gallon is all that's needed and the stuff is stupid expensive. A 8oz bottle is over $200.

I would suggest the cold shower treatment at the most.

The last thing you need is residue (especially the neem), on the leaves that could interfere with the Floramite doing its job. You would do more harm than good.

For the Floramite, read and follow the directions exactly. Do not make the dilution stronger or apply more often than the directions call for.

Thanks Wet, I have only used avid.
Last night I used Neem because the leafs were taking a hit from mites.

Today, there nothing but frozen mites. The mites dont look so well either absoutley dead in their tracks. :)

I get floramite on wednesday and did not want to use avid again until I could get in rotation.

Plus its raining and im happy to wash off any neem on tuesday night and apply Floramite on wednesday.

Thanks wetdog, I can say last year I lost the battle with mites but never used avid or floramite.

Combine avid and forbid in one cocktail.........5 drops forbid....7 drops avid...I use greencure for a speader...all in a 32 oz spray bottle of water

Both available on ebay about $20 a piece..... One application is usually all u need to do....they do get carried into the growroom by wind and on clothes

I guess I should fess up and say I was using the neem all these years with ICE COLD water.
The neem floated up to the top of the sprayer then burnt my plants and for the most part all mites were getting WATER.

I used neem with half hot and half cold water and holey shiit no mites at all!

Now I can use what ever flrbid, avid, floramite and be CLEAN of mites or AKA plant herpes.

Forbid smashes mites. Its the only thing that kills all stages of life. Adults, larvae and eggs. Avid works also. Both can be bought on ebay for $20 if you dont wanna spend $250 on a full sized bottle.

I found mites, late budding, whats safe to use?

I have Floromite, AVID, neem, Azomax.

I had been using neem every 4 days with 100% results, not a single mite.
Today I found them.

Im told that Floromite will be safe 2 weeks to harvest and completely dissipate.

I used Azomax before up to the day of harvest as its organic with no burn.

Im told the tobacco industry covers the products with AVID.

FFUUUUUK!~

Please advise.

Mighty wash would cost me $600 per application.
