Got the supplies; Now how do I put it all together? Help?

4' x 2' x 5' tent
2 exhaust ports on top left corner
and one exhaust port on the bottom left
4" diameter each

So I got a 4" inline duct fan 180 CFM
Yet I also have a 6" cooltube.
NOW I need to put it all together.

One TINY problem. My tent is push into a corner closet, and I can only exhaust air out of the top vent (See pic)
My question is, what are the best setups I can use here?
I have a Y-duct adaptor 6" x 4" x 4" to be able to attach the fan ducting (4") to the cooltube (6")

I'm not a pro at set ups by any means so take this with a grain of salt.

What are you trying to accomplish by adding ducting to the other side of the Y adapter? If you are going to use it as exhaust for the tent in general wouldn't it be just fine without extra ducting?

Also, another thing to contemplate is couldn't you somehow block of the "unused" opening of the Y adapter? This would require all of the air to be taken through the cooltube and in theory double the amount of air you are pulling through the tube? Actually think of it as the path of least resistance... The air would be pulled more from the Y adapter without ducting than through the tube itself because its less distance so the suction power is stronger at that opening than the cool tube opening. You bought it to cool the temps.

Let me know what you think.

Yeah, I like your thinking, but the main purpose I got the Y-adaptor instead of a normal 6" to 4" reducer was to exhaust additional heat and SMELL from above the light. I don't know, I guess I was just paranoid of the thing overheating and possibly catching fire.
Blocking the other route does seem most logical.

Now is for the question, where do I fit everything in? I have no idea how to suspend the fan inside the tent without stabbing holes in the tent.
The reason I'd want the fan INSIDE the tent is to muffle some of the sound...it's kinda loud.

Could use a pic of the fan. Saw you had another thread awhile ago linking all the stuff you were thinking about buying. Hit me up with a pic of that fan and I'll see what I can come up with? 2 heads are better than 1.

In regards to your worries of smell: Think of it in terms of a 100 CFM. Either you will have 50 CFM pulling through the bulb and tent & 50CFM pulling directly from the tent. Or you could have 100CFM pulling through the tube & tent. Once again I'm no expert but I just can't rationally think why not pull it all through the tube? Can always try both and compare temps before you get it all going. Once it is going and you are having smell concerns then undo the Y adapter to allow it to pull from the tent.

Here's the fan:

As you see, it has the drill mount on the bottom, I just dont see how people install these things without destroying their tents.
