Soooo ive been living in nor-cal for the past coupole years, doin the whole indoor thing...thinking about getting some property and doing the outdoor thing.... Realistically, how much do outdoor plants yeild? I know its kind of an open question, but i hear a lb a plant sometimes, then others tell me about the mythical 5lb plants with dudes ripping 90+ plant gardens.... If i do it i just wanna have enough ladies for myself for the year. Really though, if done right what can i expect? 1-5lbs a plant is a big difference. thats basically means i could grow 10 or 50 ladies and get the same amount depending. What can i really excpect???? thanks guys....just curious

That is too broad of a question.

I can't give you an exact yield estimate, but if you have a decent grow 10 plants should be enough to keep you going for a year.

Watch some Jorge Cervantes videos and you'll see plants that produce 2,3,4,6, and even 10#. How, im not sure, wish I could see how big they were when they sit them out.

I read about one outdoor plant producing 17 pounds dry, was said to be over 30 feet tall....

I grew 8 plants this spring, which produces smaller yields than summer crops and I still got over 3 lbs, which would be plenty me (1/4lb/mo). I am certain that in Cali, properly grown plants should produce 1lb ea, at least. That's assuming that you know what you're doing.

jorge cervantes has a video about ten pound plants all grown oganically you can get a couple ounces or a couple pounds its all on the techniques if you neglect your plants they won't produce much and I bet those ten pound plants where started indoors

Atleast a half p a plant in 10 gal pots a p per plant isnt hard.

here's the final yeild:

well here is the final tally of what i took off the big girl.

i put the boat rod in the pic so you would have a gauge [it is 5'6in long]

the dry weight is 9lb 9oz and a wee bit .so all in all not a bad effort

hope you enjoy and have a successfull grow.
