Clones and flowering in same room?

If I put a shelf halfway up in a closet, and blocked out light, would it be possible to have the lower half of a closet used for veg and the upper half of the closet used for flowering? The bottom shelf would be using t5 fluorescents so there would not be much heat, and the top would use either an hps or LED.

I think that done this way properly blocking light leaks to the top shelf, I could turn one closet into both veg and flowering chambers by utilizing the height of the closet. What do you think?

yep..i see no problem as long as there is no light leak to the flower side. good thinking to place the flowering on top...heat rises;-)
when done post pictures

thats same thing i did made a room inside a room veg below flower above but i ran out of room so just turned whole area into veg and built a separate flower room
with proper light traps and sealing all light leaks u can do it

think separation with panda film would work? maybe a second zipper for the top chamber? perhaps a duct from bottom to top chamber for exhaust?

what's the plywood do? do you run 2 exhausts then? I'm thinkin of adding a plywood shelf then light sealing with panda film and then figuring out a way to make a door or zipper tarp for the second area. Right now it's a big thing of panda film over the doorway with a zipper in it and that keeps the light in. How did you make your hinged door I can't really tell from the picture. That sounds like the best idea for the bottom chamber since it's not that easy to get the panda film to seal light unless I spend time tucking it over when it hits the floor, but it would work fine for the top chamber.

i used plywood for top and sides of lower box vented into the bigger room but should have made it vent outside separately cuz it just added more heat
