First excuse if my English isnt good.
This is my first LED and also first autoflower grow.
none of the soils, nutrients etc that seem to be commonly used are available here in the far east.
most of what i am doing is praying.. reading a lot.. and taking things slow.
Closet is about 70x70cm and about 130cm tall
lined with mylar camping sheets.
light is (translation from babelfish)
Product size: 400 mm x 213 mm x 71 mm
Operating voltage: AC100V50/60 Hz
Operating environment:-20 ° c ~ + 50 ° c
Exposure up to 84.7 m 2 range: 12 m 2 recommendations
LED chip maximum power: 90 W
Light output: 3500 lm
LED wavelength: Red 660nm blue 460 nm Orange 610-615nm
seeds are 1 x shortstuff dr. feelgood and 1x shortstuff super cali haze (both feminised)
pots are number 9 (approx 13 liter)
generic potting soil (flower kind)
plus 1/3 perlite
and gravel at the bottom.
i put seeds directly into those peatmoss pucks.. and they popped the surface within 3 days. (on 15th may)
then i pulled the webbing off the pucks and put into the large pots.
at first growth was slow.. but they were probably putting out lots of roots.
I gave only water when surface of soil was dry for first 2 weeks.
Using tap water that had been left to stand in a bottle for a week+
After 2 weeks started nutrients. quarter recommended dilution of a 7.4.4 mix. I added 1 cal/mag/zinc tablet to each 2L water bottle as well. I couldnt find a PH checker.. and also i read that autos often get cal mag deficiency. zinc is good for root production too. Use nutes at every watering because they are diluted.
also using same (but obviously more dilute) as foliar spray once daily before the lights go out.
strangly the super cali haze showed sex at 3 weeks. from all my reading i expected it to be later than that... the dr feelgood on the other hand showed first hairs at around a month.
at one month added weak bloom nutrients to the above watering regimine. 0.6.4
now both plants are at 6 weeks and vertical growth has sort of stopped.
the SCH is a piggy and is now needing daily watering. I know she will go longer than the DFG so i am going to continue foliar feeding for a while more .. but the DFG has started to push out some very fat pistils .. at an alarming rate. considering she was such a slow starter.. and also a little deformed when she popped. I think she does not need more veg nutrients but i am not sure.
here are some pictures at 1 week, +- 1 month and present 6 weeks. of course the smaller is the DFG.
