is it bad to spray nutes on buds while in flowering or is that fine or should i just feed nutes through roots?

I personally would not, you stand the chance of bud rot or fungus. Just feed thru roots.

Do you really need to? Or are you just being "overly attentive"? Many begginers fall into this trap; as a matter of fact, I would say that "More plants are killed with kindness than ever die from neglect".

You can still spray the leaves if necassary.. Just aavoid bud sites nd it should be fine..

Spray leaves with only pure water, nutes only to roots at this stage

When it's dry and crusty, feed it. In my set-up, that's every 4 daysish....
