so what do you all do with your free fems from attitude? ive never paid for a fem seed, but im not going to throw away a freebie from the attitude just because its a fem, thats dumb, wasteful, and disrespectful to Lord Shiva, if your growing his plant respect it and him.

as growers we must respect each others methods..in my opinion its like 1 cookie now or 2 cookies later..I have grown fems...they grow like clones to me..slow not as vigouros as reg seeds...outside they suck..its 105 here im scared to go look at fem clones i have in a patch in the woods..they hermy under the least bit of stress...heat especially ...i have 1 mother plant from some fem seeds..i have kept for 4yrs now..she was the only one i kept out of alot of seeds..she was special from the begenning as a seed..But everyother fem seed i grew as sucked..I like so many other people were trying to get results fast..but now i dont rush and i have learned not grow alot better...and not with female seeds..and as far as the freebies i would never waste them..but would probally give them to a freind thats just starting out...i love all the growers on RIU but have a diffrent veiw as some..im still new at all this but got plenty good ratios with reg seeds..just by listening to sum of my fellow nerds...but still will never pay for fems again

disagree,,ive grown plenty fems that were vigorous growers during veg.
and ive grown fems that have taken plenty abuse without herming.
you must be doing alot wrong if most of the fems you grew sucked,most ive grown can match any reg ive grown.
you can only get some strains in fem form anyway if its a back cross of a clone only for example.

As a new & fem seed grower for now I only like the ease of them for someone with my space as I've siad before, this is to let everyone who may not know......you can choose between fem & reg seeds as your freebies now. The made the change during the new update to the site. At checkout you can choose which you want however you won't get the same seeds fem vs. reg. So for all you only reg seed growers that should be great news!
Power to all growers who actually care about this plant and stirve to improve their methods!

As much as I appreciate Subcool and miss him - I don’t fully agree on his take on fems.
His argument that fems is lazy is 100% something I agree with.
But I still grow fems and I breed with fems at times.
To make my point - if someone selfed subs Apollo13 they would be fem f2’s and highly desirable.
Logic must be if it’s a great mother then chances are it’s a great father too?
If someone selfed their blood wreck clone they would also be highly desirable for Trainwreck and trinity throwbacks.
I think it’s stupid if Subcools own cuts are still held by people and those people aren’t making S1’s so others can get something ‘close’ to the clone.
If I had subs cuts I’d go the ‘full Monty’ on the S1 front in tribute to the man even if it makes him turn in the grave.

Here we have a healthy Apollo 13 male, it’s from Motorebels A 13 F4 line. A13’s are not lost, I’ll have F5’s soon. There is more to this also but that’s a story for another day.

I think fems, especially what Humboldt CSI is doing with fem crosses, are great. I prefer regs because my favorite weed isn't feminized. Not a whole lot of truly sativa dominant stuff on the market, proportionately speaking, and hardly any fem sativas either.

But failing that having some S1’s of subs cut would give fem f2’s that would also be worthy of f5 pollen.

A lot has changed in 11 years lol. Anyone still badmouthing fems probably doesnt grow them and is repeating info from over a decade ago that was only half true way back then.
For those of us that dont have the time or space to weed out males they are golden.
