IDK, does 50% of you earning go towards taxes and your middle class? Your not American until then... No one in America is allowed to smoke pot federally. Also Automatic weapons are illegal for the most part.
and someone please spare us on breaking out the charts which don't include all taxes and fees, ~50% of what I earn is gone every year when its all said and done.

I mean easily 50%..to make it easy..one year I made 50k....My checks totaled 25k after taxes...I then got 1k back...I then paid 2000$ property taxes for my property of 1 bedroom house on 1 acre...and really I could stop there and just say it was just over 50% but I payed a lot more fees throughout that year not even including "invisible" ones.

I pay an effective 25% rate on my income up to roughly €16k, and then roughly 50% on the balance. Fuel here is over 75% taxes, which you then apply 23% VAT to.
You Americans havnt a clue about getting fucked for taxes. We had a report recently that said after all is said and done, 45% of the population with children would have more disposable income on welfare rather than working even 50% above minimum wage.
Thats a self repeating circle of "redistributive" taxation. Avoid Welfare for those who refuse to work, automatic entitlements at 18 causes a lifetime of laziness and support MOAR the people who had been working for their whole life and have hit a bad patch.
50% of all taxes levied in this country go on welfare...that's an economy crippling figure.

Wanna know the best part? Iv been in my current job 8 years paying taxes, if I lost it, I'm not eligible for anything because my missus earns over the threshold.

Yeah you get to keep 75% of anything under 16k, however most people earn over 16k and as such 50% of anything over this figure is confiscated to be given to someone else.
Given welfare is 50% of our budget, that means someone else gets 25% of my money over 16k.
