Sweet! Eventually I would like to have a separate cab/tent for vegging (I may go with CFLs or T5s when I do that) but for now I'm gonna veg/flower in one tent and see how that goes.

P.S. You should give that Strawberry Cheesecake a whirl. ;-)

I use 10" pots, so I'm guessing 1.75 gallon or so. I had been using 1 gal pots but for the last few weeks I found myself having to water daily and sometimes more. Now, with just 2 weeks or so from harvest, I'm still only having to water every second or third day.

My light is a 200w Diamond Series LED by Advanced LED. Heat was a big concern for me when choosing an upgrade from my 23w CFLs. I have no regrets.

Was scrogging originally in a rubbermaid bin...but these girls stretched like hell. Here's a little time line:

Iv'e grown thousand's of plant's few as "special" as that one! tight and perfectly formed.....Grow that girl I want to see her "comming out" party!! jack She's gonna be a fat botom girl!

Get yaself an aero pot and a mother in a small pot, for your veg closet. Get her all noded up with some root booster and take a whole bunch of cuts... it's wicked fun and I know you'll love it!
You can still run a 2 weekly cycle, but with solid mature clones instead of costly seeds (good genetics aren't cheap!) PLUS you can take more than two cuts so you can choose the two bestest ones to flower :)
this may take you a month or two to get set up properly, growing out the mother, learning the cutting process etc. But it'll save you so much on seeds and you'll have the mantle of life in your very hands every time you grow fresh roots from a stick ;) How much more satisfying can that get! haha

I think I'm going to have to give up the closet...it has a 6inch 240cfm inline fan in there that I'll be needing for the tent! Even with that fan in there, my temps have been 90 degrees unless I leave the tent propped open. I think my door doesn't make a proper seal, and the closet is also very narrow...ventilation isn't very adequate for more than a couple lights. It's just not worth it in the end...and I could use the closet to store all the nutes / fetilizers I've acquired instead of keeping them out on a desk. I really wanted to give it a try...but my trash bag / duct tape door was a little too good to be true.

That is great advice about keeping a mother though...definitely will be considering on doing it eventually, no doubt!

You can take clones from 12/12 from seed plants...there is a specific time window where you can get 1-2...of course I can't remember what it is right now but it's on del's thread. And I have a good amount of genetics at the moment :)

You just boosted up my excitement a little more...would love to experience a dialed in 12/12 from seed...always getting to try new buds. That is massively appealing to me because I smoke more than a chimney :lol:

Mothers are great n'all. But I do find it easier to snip a few snippets off a plant just before it goes in the flowering box...

Yeah... you got some genes girl! lol Watch out for the Jack Herer and the Rasberry Cough ;)

This thread is getting crazy! I love how many people are sharing / posting. When I first was trying to figure out about growing after knowing absolutely nothing...my favorite threads were the ones where there was a solid grow with helpful, thoughtful, and comedic interaction with other growers, old and new alike. I appreciate everyone who has helped me, and thank anyone who has complimented me because it has motivated me to keep learning and growing :)...in more than one way.

Check out this tent (4'x4x6.5')...it is so frickin' huge. The realization slowly came to me as I was putting together the frame in the kitchen. I had tried to envision it...even played around with the tape measure to get an idea but whow lol. My man came in the kitchen and just stared at it. I tried hard not to smirk...I know he didn't expect the tent to be so huge. He asked me where I was going to put it...tried to play it off and said I would work it out. He looked doubtful but didn't say anything lol. That's why I love him :)




And in this next pic, if you notice at the very bottom...that itty bitty thing is a 16.9 ounce (500ml) water bottle...just to give you an idea of the scale of the tent. It feels like christmas :weed:

I've been really lazy and, to tell the truth, a bit intimidated by the skilled growers here. At your urging, Lady.J, I'll get some pics taken in the next few days. 8)

This is the same seller I got mine from. Same setup except my fan has a leather cover on it.
ZERO vibrations. I simply hung it with zipties to the shelf. There's plenty of slack in the zip ties so they absorb any vibrations. Plus I run a speed controller and run my fan at about 70%.

very impressive LadyJ I was diggn that little cfl tote setup. Your really gonna have fun with that new tent. BTW are you from the south? my boy in Tenn always uses that same line "thats whats up".. never here that out in cali..
