Here it is 17, one of the kids that was with them was 17 they charged him with adult criminal tresspass, his mother is a lawyer and I hear she was pissed. He had to go through the arrest, judge, bail thing. The prob ofiicer gave us the application to have it sealed but she cant submit it till she is 17. Kid is a smart kid and rides horses, hunter jumper, she will no doubt get a scholorship for that and if this screws it up I am going to be pissed at the realtor who lives in the neighborhood. She has no kids and has no idea what a cluster fuck this turned out to be.

Surely it won't end too badly...? I guess it depends on where you are and who the judge is though huh?
Some judges say aww they're kids and free to go...some judges say they are miscreants and undeserving of normal adult lives due to childlike misdeeds done in youth...

I've been smoking weed since I was 10. Used to steal it from my dad and I'm sure he knew cause potheads don't just forget how much weed they have on hand. It sucks that you feel that you have to stop your grow. It's your kid, have you had any conversations with him about smoking weed? I don't have kids, but I do have many nieces and nephews. The oldest nephew I have is 13 and I'm apparently the person they all look up to. "I have no idea as to why" But I found out that he wants to try smoking weed and I have no problem with it. Hell, I may even give him his first puff.

We all know that weed isn't bad for you and has many beneficial properties. No need to be ashamed of it, but I understand where your coming from. You don't want to take the chance in your kid going back to school and talking to his friends about what you got going on and then have a bigger issue to deal with.

Don't you just miss the good ol days when we were kids and knew how to keep a secret?

My son 20 and i were always tight, he was and is on a college shooting team and shot on other teams since he was 11 they drug test the kids once a month so he never got into it at all. I am single father the mother only comes once a week for dinner, so she, my daughter, lives here and is here 24/7 I want her to make her own choices so I keep it away from her. She knows I smoke but I dont make it apear to be cool at all, I only do it at nigt before bed cause I cant sleep and ambien is bullshit. Dont want her to think it is ok or cool at her age.

You are doing the right thing, OP.

And I mean that on many levels.

You kept it a secret as long as you could.

And it's probably the best thing for the kid to see a parent behave 'responsibly.' So it will ultimately be good for the kid. Most important.

Second, it will remove you and your family from legal risk. What with that damnable D.A.R.E. program brainwashing our children. And CPS itching to make your life a living hell.

Third, it will remove you from illegal risk. By that I mean burglary, robbery, or home invasion. Kids blab. And Junior might shoot off his mouth in front of the wrong asshole.

However, there is no reason to get rid of the equipment because it is not illegal.

Grow herbs, flowers, and tomatoes (in winter). And when the time is right you may want to reconsider the grow.

But sit Junior down first and explain to him that although what you are planning is technically illegal, you believe Prohibition laws are immoral and unjust. And ask him if he will keep his trap shut.

But that might take years, so until then....

Homegrown winter tomatoes are awesome!

My youngest is 16 so I know she smokes cigs and I am ok with it, got to pick your battles, with that said last Feb I come home on a off school day and she has like three or four kids in the garage and they are smoking cigs. I get mad at her and tell her look your my kid this is my house and if I am ok with you having a cig that is my choice but these other kids are not my kids and that is not ok so DONT DO IT AGAIN. The next day they are off again and the same group of kids are here, she shows respect and when it is cig time they all leave and go walk around the neighborhood, they find a house for sale that is vacant and they go in the back yard to smoke their cigs. The realtor shows up and calls the po po, next thing you know I got the po po knocking on the door. I go outside they got all the kids standing there, the cop knows me I have lived here for 30 years. He tells me he is not allowed to search my daughter but thinks the cigs are in her pocket and asks me to tell her to turn them over. I laugh, ask him if they are in custody, he says no I look at them and tell them to get their asses inside now.

He leaves and I think all is well. Last week 4 months later I get a letter from Juvy telling me she is charged with criminal tresspass, lol, I was pissed. I called the cop and asked wtf man, really, he claims the realtor wanted to send a sign to the rest of the kids. Such bullshit, I take her up there she goes through the whole system, prints, photos the works. They walk her through the yard in cuffs so she can sell all the kids in jail etc. Then we meet with prob officer and she asks a bunch of questions then releases her with not comunity service no prob nothing. I LOVE MY KIDS BUT HAVING KIDS SUCKS LOL Now she has a record ugh.

I know the equipment is legal, and I will keep it if I can't find someone willing to give me back my trim when they harvest...they can keep whatever comes off the plants, but I need the leaves...
But if nobody I know is willing to do such a thing then I will just throw myself into peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes...It sounds like I am going to have to kill a bunch of plants, but I might be able to have someone I know that grows outdoors take them...I supplied most of their plants and seeds for this years grow, and I am pretty sure that they will share a good bit with me...so it might all work out alright...

Keep the equipment and grow/sell peppers. I sell extra ghost chillis on craigslist all the time. Even sell lots of cuttings for 5 bucks a piece.

See that is all I need...lol. I actually would just like the trim back, but alas I'm not going to be able to find anyone to take the stuff...think a friend will outdoor my vegging plants with his for me...
I am also going to try and see if he might give me his trim this year, since I supplied the majority of the plants and seeds for his grow this year...I figure if the trim from 3 medium sized indoor plants gets me enough to last til more plants are done...then trim from a much larger outdoor grow should last me a lot longer...so it might all work out. at least for the next few months...
