Fifth time. You can check how much you make compared to how much you would qualify for online. I don't qualify. I never applied. Got it? I just think it's fucked up others who are better off do qualify. I don't qualify by a few hundred. Also my work depends on how busy the company is.

Food stamps works by the quarter year maximum, and monthly maximum. I get paid weekly on the same day, so sometimes I get 5 week months. That month puts me over the limit. If they averaged the three months I'd qualify. But even then, some months I make shit, others tons of over time. Like one month I had a over 60 hour week, then others I barely get the full 40. If it was averaged by 12 months I'd qualify too.

See, they expect 40 hour or less weeks all the,time. Without overtime pay, holiday, etc. It really fucks with their process with sporadic pay people like me.

How do you know others are better off then you getting foodstamps. You see their pay stubs ??? Do you see their bills ? Maybe they just balance money better then you. What do you waste your money on.

and looking at the CalFresh website you're explaining the system for AFTER you receive food stamps. The system to apply for them is somewhat different being that it is based on gross and net income determination tests not quarterly reporting in which you just described. Medical expenses are exempt from counting as income. If I took big pharma meds like other people do in my similar situation, I'd more than qualify. So that's how I know.
