First Time Closet Growing

This is my first time growing my own plant. I'm tired of paying these expensive prices for "dank" these days that aren't even that good (in my opinion) But I was wondering if I was to use "bag seed" or a seed from a bag of reggie/mids/shwag and i use the proper nutrients and grow it properly will I have a chance of harvesting some good dank or at least a better plant than the the original plant the seed came from (Reggie/Mids/Dirt/Shwag) Please leave any tips or advice you would have for me. And from people that actually know what they're talking about would be cool too :razz:

Also my grow room is in my walk in closet with sliding doors if this helps you guys help me in any way :eek::razz:

You can only go so far with limited genetics. Get some quality seeds if you're gonna go through the hassle of growing.

I started all mine from bagseed, turned out amazing and nothing wrong with trying(to see how it turns out for you) ....and you also gain the experience so if you make it to harvest with the first ones, after sampling, if its not up to your standards.... then try a better/different strain...until you eventually find a strain you like...and one that is fairly easy to grow.

you could definitely grow a better quality plant all around than the bud you got it from. And who knows what it was cross with....could be some archaic dank 1 hit quit shit.

Are they're any certain nutrients or fertilizers or soil i should be using to ensure i will get a good plant?

i would use bagseeds til you got things down at least. why spend the money for good seeds just to have the plants die because you didnt know what you were doing? yeah it isnt hard to grow but you never know what kind of problems ull have until you do. i use bagseeds for my grows and they all turn out to be good. better then what it looked when i bought it. i got some cheap cheap shit from a guy the weed was black but it was 20 dollars an ounce.. it didnt smell or anything looks moldy.. i took the seeds, and they are fantastic plants now.

I'm using bagseeds right now, and I've researched bagseed grows, and done right, stressless environment, and nutes, you can grow some pretty good nugs. Just because it's bagseed doesn't necessarily mean bad genetics. Granted the probability the genetics being good aren't GREAT, but doesn't mean you can't grow some bomb sensimilla. The reason bagseed comes from shitty weed is clearly the males aren't weeded out. And yes...pun DEFINITELY intended ;)

i use botanicare liquid karma, cal mag, pure blend pro grow, and pure blend pro bloom.

i got them when they were samples. once i run out im gonna try xnutrients.
