Street light/flowering?

Hey, just out of curiosity, when my plants reach flowering stage, hopefully in september etc, as I understand they need total darkness in the dark period, will a streetlight away from them, yet still shines weak light on them, make much difference?
If so, any way to combat that, to help them have pure dark, without timing my life round them, as in get back by a certain time to make sure theyre placed in a dark room etc?

i remember reading this screwed someone else's grow up. I am sure it depends how much light there is though. If you can cast a shadow with it then i would say it is too bright. i would put up a simple barrier close to the plants to block the light...but I also grow in a closet...

Well the moon always shines...so if it isn't too terribly much brighter than the moon on the plants I wouldn't worry too much...I mean it is never as dark outside as it is inside in most places...

Now, one more thing...you keep saying that you are going to wait til september, wait til september...so let me ask ya--Thinking about trying to flower them early while they are outside? Because it won't work out like you think...

anything brighter than a full moon will mindfuck your plant. now.......an almost-full moon.......every night? idk. i'd avoid that light someway.

there is hardly any streetlight light gets on the plants tbh, just gives a slight orange glow on them at night, just wanted to make sure that as it wont be total darkness, that it would be ok. missnu, im saying september, as thats when the days will obviously become shorter, and i imagine thats when the plants will start to flower. does anyone know when the plants will actually start to flower, and show sex? i planted early june, when do people think i could harvest?
f a b, lol, il pass on that grow light haha

... What don't people understand about total darkness without light leaks?!

Total darkness doesn't mean "a little bit of light."

:l Come on.

Full moon is about 3 lux, so I you have more light than that shining on your plants, you're in trouble.
