how does it not devalue the principle when a NAVY asshat gets away with kidnaping cause we were at war times, i was in court, his fucking lawyer didnt even argue the cicumstances

its was just oh well you have made every attempt to play into your part as a good worker bee, so you get a fine, 300 bucks

fuck that

next person had a driving on suspended girl said like a lot, guess what she got the max 6 days work crew and 600 dollar fine, cause she didnt say sir

fuck this shit
While I sympathize with what obviously has earned your passion ... those examples devalue the practice, not the principle. Consequence of/ diagnostic for the corrupt state i mentioned. cn

its this attitude of "its corrupt and we can never change it and everything the laws states is a lie because corrupt people dont follow it" that really fucking pisses me off. you have a problem with it so much? Change it. it is within your power as an average citizen to protest, to file a lawsuit, shit want real impact file a class action along with others in the same mindset, but just dont sit on your fucking laptop and disaparage something that can be fixed, and something that is integral to our society

The divergence with the tractor metaphor is that while you can swap a Deere for a Ferguson, there's no other (tolerable) leading brand waiting to be chosen over presumption of innocence. cn
Dammit.... is it a metaphor?

I was swayed by the "like" to call it a simile, but I wasn't confident in myself. How confident are you that you correctly referred to it as a metaphor?

and fuck, I'm fully aware I'm going off topic again and I don't want to keep talking about grammar, but I yearn to know the truth.

Shit, no worries, man. Sucks you're dealing with that sobriety. I shudder to think of one week sober let alone two weeks.

Don't you even have any alcohol?

And Zimmerman is a lying bitch.
shit im plannin on havin to stay sober for atleast another few weeks just the good thing is ill have a job so i can get other stuff after the initial drug test that will be outa my system quick. i hate alcohol so i dont even bother to use it.

as far as this whole the jury is the only one that can say if he's innocent or not. who the fuck says? do they screen jurors to find out if they are even half way not retarded? damn near all the shit ive read/listened to about this says he killed that kid an it wasnt self defense.

blame the govt that makes the laws, not the people who have to enforce them. the solution to most problems with the govt is social action, not just sitting back and saying how fucked up it is

you really think any of the shit you suggested is gonna change anythin about the courts of this corrupt land? even if he did everythin you said more times than not he'd still be fucked. so its just wasted effort. you must not have ever gotten in trouble with the law before to be talkin like this.

well except my smoking pot, i dont do anything that could get me into trouble with the law. people make stupid decisions and get punished for them. if I was caught with my weed tomorrow all I could do was blame myself and not the govt who passed judgement on me.

Hate... alcohol.......... (if there was an emoticon where the emoticon's head exploded, I would put that here, but for now, the following one will have to do)??!!!

No, I'm kidding. It's definitely an easy thing not to like and I don't begrudge anyone who doesn't like it. I love it though... sweet sweet sex juice of the gods.

ah we are all people, including government employees, who should care equally about each other, you know all people created equal type shit

fucking laughable

its bad because "these people'! are you so naive to think that its any different if "those people" run things . . . .. they will hide behind the same laws that let the bankers rape this country and store the profit in the caymens

change the system stop the loop holes and make it and the enforcers of the law to be held to all the ramifications of their mistakes

you know just like us, fair and balanced

its not laughable. its true. if we look to the guiding principles of our country and how far away we have gotten from them, we should be ashamed and do what we can to fix it. If we dont like the way our country is run, then we must strive to fix it or accept the situation. Just like socrates noted in the crito, when you chose to live within a society, and benefit from joining into that society, when you have an issue with it, you only have two options. Either convince it to change, or accept whatever comes down to you. its a social contract theory. I like locke better though, because he espoused that when a govt fails to do its job, then we must work to fix it or to dissolve it. seeing as we would vastly be disadvantaged by dissolving the union, we must work to improve it

an who deems these decisions stupid? just cause some old fuck makes a bogus ass law means its the right thing? if you would blame yourself for gettin caught with weed then thats just a shitty "im not gonna fight it cause thats the law" attitude that makes no sense. do you feel you should be arrested/fined for havin weed on you?

your naive view is laughable, go spend a day in court on arraignment day, and you will know what i am talking about

the poor get fucked, and the rich with attorneys get off, and thats about it, how is that fair same laws same crimes, rich laywed up defendants get off or plead down, poor fucks same crime no lawyer or jerky one and way different outcome,

truth

Can you actually just go sit in a court room to spectate?

Will you get in trouble for yelling "SHE'S LYING!!"?

but thats the thing. we when know what is illegal and legal, we have a choice to make: do we follow the law or do we diverge from it? by living in america, paying taxes, etc, we are choosing to live by the terms and laws of the govt. and we have the power to repeal laws and to make ourselves heard. And no answer your question, no, I shouldnt be arrested for having weed on me, but I will be, because that is the law and I chose to break it, whether or not I think I should be punished for breaking it.

so we choose to live in this fucked society? lol c'mon now

so if you dont think its wrong why would you blame yourself instead of the shit laws an the shit ppl that made the shit laws where the blame should be? its not like we choose to live in america an its not like anyone/everyone can just up an leave the country if they feel like it. esp considerin most laws are the same round the world
