Blackstar 240w Flowering models !!!

I am selling 2 Blackstar 240w Flowering models letting them go for 300 a peice or OBO let me know they have only been used two cycles I took the glass off them for better penetration but I still have the glass. Let me know ! if interested pm I will send pics when I get time thanks!!!

I also have a 300w chinese panel im letting go for 280 obo they are 1 w lens at 120 degree angle let me know it is a flowering model !

way too much money, ... considering that thats what they last, 2 cycles!! hehe I considered selling mine but I didnt even think I could get more than 150$ for a used bs240 ... not to mention its not like you are offering a warranty, you can almost get a new with a year warranty for the price you are asking...

EDIT... well I paid less than what they are charging now, .. didnt realise they were going for 390$ now...

LED's are rated at 50,000 hours.... that's a hell of a lot more than 2 cycles :)

But yeah for second hand (if you want to be competitive and actually sell em) you want an absolute maximum of 1/2 + a few $ what you paid for them... if you paid $390 for em you'll have to put em up for $200 or less.

read up on the blackstar, they have leds that fry out after a few months right outta the box. I know first hand, as I got one in March and had a led burn out in June....not even one cycle. And only one year warranty.

Like Enduro said, way too much loot

yea you trippin bruh 200 for the both of em, if they only last for 2 cycles why would anyone pay 300 when they only cost 260 on amazon w/ shipping you crazy

Fair enough, the only ones I've read about are the IR's and UV's tend to blow pretty much within a week but the Reds and Blues seem fine.

$300? Each?:o

A normal brand new 240w Blackstar flowering model frequently goes for $278 on blackstarled.com, amazon.com & gotham hydro (Including shipping). They go for even less on eBay, with some patience. With even MORE patience you can snag them for well under $200 each, slightly used as I have done.

PS - While these panels are not the greatest, they aren't shit. Everyone keeps bringing up the one year warranty and the melting led diode that has been causing everyone problems. That diode (UV or IR? I forget which) was a mistake on models manufactured during a 6 month span. Panels before or after that do not have this problem.

That being said the one year warranty is too short and it remains to be seen if any other issues pop up. But remove the diode problem and there are zero complaints (am i missing anything?) with these panels from what I can see.

Anyway, Just wanted to clear that up. Everyone makes it seem like these panels are completely defective and that is just flat out not correct.

Fair statement Amax, here's my question for ya: Knowing what you know now, would you buy another bs 240 new?

At 278 its a killer price that's why I got mine.

The only thing stopping me from buying another Blackstar unit is that I already have two. I'd absolutely would buy another unit new if I didn't already have two units. Right now I want another panel from another company simply because I want to try another company.

^^^^That seems like it was worded by a third grader. i just woke up. oh well.

PS - I'd make sure if I was buying a new blackstar that it was 2012 model and no other.

Just realized that those PG180's can be had for $285 now, draw 160w and have a 3 year warranty.

If I was just making the jump to leds this would more than likely be my "jumping on board" panel. The numbers speak for themselves. More watts, better warranty & it cost around the same as a BS240.

Sold em all all 3 for 650 !!! cant complain !!! with that much if I wanted I could get a 400 or 600w hps with tent air cooled hood and intake fan and more !!! but its time for me to hang it up no growing for me for awhile maybe sometime in the future till than fellas stay strong keep it moving !!!
