A wild lady bug flew into my room ...

i have been having problems with thrips and when i was adjusting my trellace today i found a wild ladybug eating a thrip larva !!:clap: Hope she tells her friends haha... wonder how long she will last before she flys into the light :wall:

Hope its a she and she uses the protien to lay eggs. Larvae eat more than adults.

As a child we we told it was a sign of good luck if a lady bug comes to you.

In this case it looks to be true.

where i live they swarm to u
did u know u can get stung by lady bugs
i didnt know that till i moved here and was working on a house's softits they like to hide there
they hurt like a bee
they live there in packs

LOL stung by a lady bug

you are very lucky it was not a butterfly .. butterfly venom is deadly

I think what you are referring to is the Asian Beetle(Harmonia axyridis) imported and released to control aphids in soy bean crops. Although they look like a lady bug they are a bit different. They dont sting, they bite just about anything they land on. Unlike common lady bugs that can bite but rarely does......

just saw the same ladybug again today!, thought she meet her demise to the light but guess i was wrong. she only has 2 dots on here and is very bright red... would be sweet if it was a she and she laid eggs!!! ... dont see nearly as many thrips as last week... gotta love mother nature! :clap:

crazy just walked in my room today and saw a lady bug or an Asian beetle in the room...first time i have ever seen a bug in the room if i have no problems with other bugs the lady bug will not harm anything correct???
