i have been having problems with thrips and when i was adjusting my trellace today i found a wild ladybug eating a thrip larva !! Hope she tells her friends haha... wonder how long she will last before she flys into the light

i didnt know that till i moved here and was working on a house's softits they like to hide there
they hurt like a bee
they live there in packs

I think what you are referring to is the Asian Beetle(Harmonia axyridis) imported and released to control aphids in soy bean crops. Although they look like a lady bug they are a bit different. They dont sting, they bite just about anything they land on. Unlike common lady bugs that can bite but rarely does......where i live they swarm to u

True red Wild Lady Bugs are a marvelous thing. But those orange hussies are imposters and no ladies. Slutroaches. cnyup in the midwest they bite but there are two kinds, the orange redish ones do bite hard lol
