Look for rare, high yielding, and good smelling strains. Ignore things like THC content IMO. Then you can get 2800-3k a pack and still have a decent yield. Those strains do exist...
 
If i could find a legit cut of platinum OG i'd be all over it. The stuff i have in my room right now is "OG" and the genetics are so weak they are just falling apart at the moment.

You can drive a few hours to Santa Cruz and pick one up from the local dispensary for $10.

Platinum OG is clone only. There are no phenotypes. And the clones are pretty easy to get everywhere. I went strain hunting yesterday and saw them in 4 different counties.

I need to get my ass out and find some good strains to run...just no more weak genetics.
 
My buddy came by with some GSC bud to share last night. He got it from a grower who got the cut from the original breeder. It was good. Smaller nugs with a strong kush smell and taste. It's definitely good stuff, but not necessarily better than many other strains out there.
 
platinum og is great iv got 10 in flower right now got to be honest though if this is considered a higher yeilding og then i never wanna see the other og's cuz my platinum og is not up to my standards with yeild. im almost 5 weeks in and they look about were my other strains are at like 3-4, but they are stacking trichromes like crazy

I have so many damn GSC seeds....hey Dan, what do you think I could get for "teens"? I'm not really in a living situation where I can clone anything. I was thinking of ploping the beans in and growing the ladies out until they show signs of boobs. :-P
 
There aren't any GSC males unless you know the breeder. people wouldn't be selling clones for 800 dollars if there were seeds of it. (Cut and pasted from another website)

I have a GSC male. It is most definitely not a clone only strain.

A fad? This STRAIN has 4 crosses already, shits not slowing down anytime soon. EVERY single collective I find that claims real GSC is 90% BS. The ones that have the real shit know it, and it FLYS off the counter tops. I know what it looks like, hell....I know what all Cookies look like...Fortune cookies, Galactic GSC's, Platinum GSC's to name a few.

Pretty ignorant post man....maybe you should do some MORE research.

Fad or not..the shit sells. Even the fake shit sells. Berner knew it....and cashed in on the real cut.
