Top cola is starting to mold. (pics) should I flush her for a day or two then cut her

Is this mold or not? It is only on this cola of the plant, which is one of the plants main colas. The plant is 46 days old from seed, and it is a Pakistan Ryder Auto Flowering strain. I have about maybe 5-6 more days then I will flush, but now I see this? Should I just flush for a week and then cut her because what I am seeing looks like brown mold. Will it spread to my other auto flowering plants if I leave it? maybe by bugs traveling from plant to plant? anyways I do not really want to have to cut it now, but I guess I will have to? Does anyone have any information on whether this is mold?

It will not let me upload pictures (yes I know how to do it...)

It also rained, which I why I think this grew, it is also one of the few parts of the bud that does not get sunlight(its on the inside)

I will draw a picture for you with words, there are beautiful green buds all over, but then you see these two spots that are very brown and are getting bigger daily. It looks like a nug that is brown and shriveled up. It is also very humid at night (like 80-90%...).

If you google brown mold on cannabis it looks just like those pictures.

forgot to add, I cant really cut the top cola off because it will shock the plant, and it is an auto flowering plant which they are very picky when flowering and if I cut anything off it could shock the plant for up to a week... I have seen other people growthing them and they really only live for 60 days max...

Dip the top cola in a hydrogen peroxide + water solution, don't make it to potent. Just something to wash it off and clean it, shake it off good

ps. What I'd do is cut it off, and throw it out lol. Or bag it if you don't want to shock the plant, just so it don't spread. But if the top cola got hooked up, good chances its not going to stop there.

Still waiting for pic lol

If it is botrytis, aka bud mold, then you have no choice but to surgically remove the infected part and treat the area around it. It must be done immediately or it will spread very quickly and ruin much more than it already has.

Serenade is very effective at preventing the spread but it will not cure the problem if the factors that allowed the mold to flourish are not addressed, such as relative humidity, air circulation etc.

I have broken tops off and still harvested so rather than lose it and risk mold spreading
I would gladly stunt it especially if its this close. Not like its gonna have time to grow a bunch of seeds or anything.
But without the pics its a hard call. You said it looks like mold according to other pics so I would treat it as mold.

I have heard of people making honey oil out of moldy bud. Not even the slightest bit sure how safe it is
but you may want to look into that if its like a huge ass 1 oz cola or something.

If it is bud rot you really should cut it off, it will spread rapidly in humid conditions, through spores and systemically. The whole plant being taken over by a disgusting fungus would be much more shock than just cutting off the infested area. Keep an eye on the other buds after you harvest because of the spores, they can spread between moist buds even after you cut them off the plant.

Cut it off and toss it. You might salvage some "clean" bud from the area away from the mold on the piece you cut. Seal the moldy stuff in a baggie and toss it; anything you saved from it should be dried quickly, like on top of the oil burner. Watch the other buds carefully- any dead leaves in a green area should be checked. If there is mold the leaf will pull off the plant with no effort. Bend the bud to open it for a look, if there is mold you will see it as a gray or brown discoloration, foliage will be rotting at the stem. Cut any affected buds or you'll lose it all fast, this stuff does not fuck around. I just took the 7 tops I trained off a GDP as they rotted one at a time.

well every time I try to post a picture my browser lags out. Heres what I did, I cut off the infected area, probably 2gs worth of bud, and then I saw more infection on a lower bud and I cut that off two. Tomorrow I am going to flush the soil with like 6 gallons of water to get all the nutrients out, dry the soil out over 3 days and then cut her.

Can the mold spread from plant to plant? I moved all my auto flowering plants on the opposite side of the other infected one. In between these are very hardy outdoor strains that are thick and bushy, which should stop the spoor from getting to my other ones that are budding.

Should I move the infected one inside at night where there is no air circulation and barely any humidity???

Yes it spreads to other plants. I,d cut the affected colas off completely. Salvage what you can from em. Personally flushing is gonna make it suck up water and make it moister. I'd just havest that one. What nutes?

fox farms grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom, and then the beastie bloomz, open sesame, and cha ching. all chemicals, but you add the big bloom to every serving which is organic (maybe this tricks the plant into believing it is getting organic nutrients??)

I watched a buddy last year in the PNW lose some 10 ft+ monstor plants
by screwing around with mold. It was very depressing. Once it set in it was way fast.

I grow organic and don't flush is why I asked.
The last time I fed the plant it was with 2 gallons of water and 2 tablespoons of molasses. So maybe it has already used most of the chemicals I gave it. I fed it like 2-3 days ago, but then a week before I used half serving of beastie bloomz and a half serving of cha ching. I am gonna cut it tomorrow and dry it, then smoke it. I am just really sad because half the hairs are still white and the trichs are all still clear...

GOD DAMNIT, it wont let me post pictures it keeps saying the message you are trying to post is to short, increase the length by 10 characters... I added maybe 200 characters and it still wont let me...

what do you mean the trichomes are fully formed?
They are all sticking out, meaning you can see them with your eyes like not just the tips but there long stems. Then when I look with my 40x jewelers loop they are 3/4 clear 1/4 milky with maybe 1-4 amber ones. The hairs have yet to all die off (meaning turn brown and fall over the bud) most are still white.

but like I said the trichomes look like little penises, rather than a week ago they did not have long stems like they do now.

I actually just learned that these long penis like trichomes are actually capitate stalked trichomes which are more abundant in cannibinoids. So i guess if I cut now I still with have a minor couch-lock feel. hopefully. heres the link I found about trichomes. https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/245494-red-hairs-vs-trichs.html brick tops post is very informational.
