The top of four of my monsters look unhappy?

I top dressed on the 10th of this month two cups 0-7-0 bat guano and two cups 0-12-0 bone meal,At first I thought nute lock but I don't think that's it so I then checked the top layer of soil/boneANbat topping CAKED up like they should be two inch roots growing out the top. I have thought an thought and the only thing I can come up with is there just not getting enough water when I'm watering every plant takes water just fine but three of them I have to refill 3 times because I can only get to ten Mississippi and the forth takes the water but looks like the other three. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

What are you counting to ten Mississippi to water? Ok... Give us some pictures so we can get a better idea. You didn't give us anything to go on. Yellow leaves, nothing. All we know is what fertilizer you gave it a couple of days ago. That's it. Sorry, but we can't help you with just that information. How old are they, what size pots are they in, are they into flower?

Well what signs of unhappy is it showing? Since no yellowing, or leaf problems I'm guessing drooping?

Cool alright. Yea they just look like they need more water. Same thing happened with my indica's the tops would be droopy out in the sun. I move them into the shade they perked back up. I would then water them and move them back out into the sun and they wouldn't droop anymore. Another sign of needing more water is how the leaves fold up like tacos. Just more water man.

Another way you could water is just letting the pots sit in the water. You have to make sure the water doesn't go over the rim though, so it doesn't push dirt out. The water will come up from the bottom through the entire soil medium, and once you can see the water coming through the soil at the top then it's watered. I don't know if their any pro's or con's to this method, but it will definitely saturate everything. I doubt with those monsters you could do it that way though. Haha. Nice plants though.

Mine are much smaller, and pretty small pots. I only use about a gallon of water for my two big pots, and a half gallon for my small pot. I use a milk jug.

Lol I like how you explain all that to him and then at the end say that it probably wont work for him. But im seconding that they need more water. When my plants need more water they start to droop from the top down.

I just meant it would be hard to move them especially after watering. I mean it would work watering that way, but it would be hard as hell to move them. Also have to change the water out that when you do it, so you wont be using nuted water.

Bump. About half of mine are doing the exact same thing. I'm in 200 gals and water about 4 to 8 gallons a day. I'm thinking I may be over-watering. Plants are 7-8 feet ball 6-7 feet wide. I'm going to drought mine out tomorrow and see how they look on Friday.

Well I've been flushing with straight water for two days, after two days of drought. And they look alot better. I'd say it's lockout or overfeeding. Doubt it was lockout for me. My Ph is 6.8.

Droopage with no signs of over feeding means its a moisture problem. Either too much, or too little.
Put a whole close to the bottom of your container and stick your finger in and feel the soil, see if its too dry or too wet because its one or the other.

Yours sounds like its over watered. You might see them perk up after flushing them due to the increase of oxygen from the fresh water. If your ph is 6.8, and you dont see any leaf warping or leaf burning, its moisture related from over watering, root bound, or a dry pocket, not a lockout or over feeding.

Interesting. Actually I just calibrated my ph meter and I'm running 7.3.

I'm in 200 gal smart pots . My plant are 5-8 ft tall and 5-8 ft wide. I'm watering about every day, If it's hot out. 4-8 gals of water a day.
My smaller plants are taco leafing and have some nute burn. So I'm guessing I nuted too much. I did a heavy feeding/watering on a cool, overcast day and that's when they did like the OP's.

Also the OP just top dressed like 4 cups of bone meal/bat guano per 25gal pots before his issue happened. That seems like alot.

It's weird. My plants look like they're sleeping. During the hottest time of the day. The top most part of the plant's leafs are ridgedly pulled down. Like sleep mode.

Showed a few people and they'd never seen it before. ???
