Are you still using NEWS in your scrog technique? I just posted some pics of my first two scrogs. I'm looking to build 4 more to have a 6 scrog perpetual grow, harvesting two every three weeks.

I get excited to see how my first few scrog grows will be every time I check this thread. How do you like jillybean?

Hey thanks man! i am still using "news" kind of. I just get my 4 main branches and send them to the corners. after that ive been just kind of moving branches where they need to go, at random, to make the screen full.

My next plant will be Mainlined under the screen. Still trying to fill all holes in my screen, so mainlining in a grid type pattern. Should be lovely

WaaaaaHoooo!!! The Chernobyl plants are kickin ass in there holes. They're growth rate has been stellar, and the stocks are HUGE. But a couple of these plants have just tremendous leaves. Biggest i have ever seen in person.

I took clones off all plants but 2, plants C and D, as when i was checking preflowers as i took clones, they were pretty clear the first showing males. All others ether looked more lady like, or not showing yet. Here are pics of the 9 plants, named with a letter, A through I. The first 5 in the ground, then the other 4 in big tubs, awaiting an open spot in the ground from any males.

The other 1 of 2 that we like best so far for structure. Again mammoth leaves think its a girl...




looks like one of our early showing males in the ground. Will be eyed for another week till we are sure, then pulled and replaced with a girl from a tub.

... so we have 2 early males, 1 non showing, and 6 lookin like girls... This is of course just a stoned look through a mag glass at what many consider to be too early to tell...

So i got 2 clones off 7 plants, and are trying them subs rapid rooter way, same as i did the seeds.
I have a "cake saver" container serving as my shoe boxes, and have them in a window...


...some of them wernt the best for clones, some having only 1 node set in the rooter, cuze the node spacing was so big at this point...

But i have high hopes for these. Hoping some of these are my Lime Slurpee's and Golden Ticket's!!!

Hell yeah man, i know! But i tell you what, im 6 ft, and i have massive long hands compared most. And those leaves still make them look small.

Vortex 40 days. I guess i didnt have enough S.Soil in this girl. But its funny, its a 10gal smarty, at 50% S.Soil. So the next one im going like 60%-65%.

Hey thanks friends! Super medication station pulled through... long week back at work... Yellowstone made me want to camp forever... except for mosquitoes..

heres another look in the garden.. 7-12-12 All doing great. Top dressed the Vortex and her fade has slowed some. Crazy funky fruity poo peper... Blackberry kush seems to not want to fill the rest of the screen... Shes really lush and thick. good sized stock. Going to flip her monday. Vortex "S" is my 50/50 pheno.. looking good, her first week in her tent and 10 gal, 65% ish supersoil...

...you have such a killer little scene bro.......love it.....yeah, vorti really leaning heavy to apollo...looks a bit light, but hit her with some sugars, and she could rock up a bit.....looks like fire though....those indica dom strains just don't seem to have the secondary branching it takes to properly fill a scrog....but would do great as a 16 headed mainline in the same space....glad you enjoyed your vay-k bro, and thanks for the update.....nugs

Thanks Nugs yeah ill hit the vortex girl with some organic molasses tonight. She is most deff an apollo girl. Will be interesting to see how the 50/50 does. And yes, im sure the blackberry would just kill a 16 head mainline!.. Cant wait to see how my Chernobyl phenos grow as well. I want to find a 32 head scrog slayer pheno... or 64...

You think with the right strain, you could do a 64 head mainline Nugs?
Tha'd be a 8 square by 8 square scrog screen, filled with equal hormone, as kicking heady nugs!

Blackberry Kush Day 2 flower Took the screen of this girl, as she just didnt like it. Think shes got a good flat canopy anyway. Might use some string netting late in flower if needed.



And then my youngest Vortex here. 50/50 pheno this time. Just loving the screen.

As in, she needed more S.soil, faded too much too early, and now she looks farther along then i expected her to be, for only day 51. But shes still got quite a few white hairs (which i know dont mean too much), and seems like most trics arnt developed yet, but the ones that are, look cloudy to amber already. Thoughts?

i could have cut mine at day 48!...about 25% amber......mine is also a very heavy feeder, and my mod/scrog was set up with soil that was too weak, so i am supplementing...i caught her early, and brought her back up to speed...but she is a true fararri...fast and furious...............just let her fade....she should be ready by 60 for sure......

...i got her nutes just right the first time, but the 10 gal mod/scrog is a pretty massive/hungry plant.....i should have gone 80% SS, but went 66%......this was my first run with mine at 45 days......looks like yours is very apollo dom....

looks great oriah! im glad i stumbled in here. iv been contemplating doing this exact thing 3-4 separate scrogs on a perpetual cycle, how much time you spend training/pruning weekly??
