ok this is my 1st grow hopefully i can get some tips and some help with the few problems i have

info on plants i am growing 2 bag seeds i started on a 6-on/6-off/6-on/6-off was told by a grower near by that is a good light cycle to work with for veg
but when i seen that they have not grown any i put them to a 18-on/6-off i am growing with foxfram potting soil in small 5oz(not sure if am saying the correct size ) plant pots using an 60 watt incandescent dayspot grow bulb i have 1 cpu fan sucking air out of the box and i have a 10gal air pump pumpping air in to a small jar with water letting air in and keeping the humanity up

problems so far
1: the plants seem to stop growing they been at the same size for about 5 days now
2:may have over watered them leave are turning yellow on 1 plant just a little tho
3: the box i am using is getting hot not sure if it is too hot but it is some where in the 80s

and if any 1 is willing to help me out via skype (if allowed ) i will be very grateful

p.s i know my spelling and grimmer may be a bit off

Growth will slow down after a shock of overwatering or over fert.
Incandesent bulbs are not good for growing. THey put out more heat than light. Get some florescent lights. CFLs of tube florescents

Well, for starters, stop listening to the "grower near by".....Veg 18/6, 20-4 or 24/0....Secondly, if you planted them in straight FFOF, it's too hot and you should NOT be adding nutes for 4 or 5 weeks......Third, try to get your temps down to upper 70's/low 80's.....Fourth, a 5 oz pot? That can't be right......Too many variables here and witout photos you aren;t going to get much more help that what I just posted.

i will up load a few pics now

yeah incandescents will not grow anything, your plants will die if you continue with them. For 2 plants you want at least a few 23 or 26 watt cfl lights to veg with (they'll say 100 watt replacement because it replaces an incandescent bulb of that wattage). some pics of your setup would be helpful

Ok. Lets start at the beginning. Go ahead and stop talking to that grower near by. He has no clue what he is talking about. Go ahead and set your light for 18 hours on and 6 hours off. I am pretty sure that the lightwiz bulb you put in the picture is a 5400 kelvin bulb. I would personally replace that with a 6500kelvin 26w cfl. But what you have will work for now. I would also take that cpu fan you have mounted on the back side of the box and move it up to the top as high as you can get it ( remember hot air always rises). The thing that has caught my attention most was the air pump that you are using as an intake. Go ahead and get that thing out of there and get a fan that can actually put some air in your box. This should get you on the right track. Hope to see you around the forums and good luck with your grow. STAY HIGH!!!

Get the new fans and get your self a new light and you will be on the right track. get that water out of there. Dont adjust it before you even know what it is. STAY HIGH!!!

yeah that looks like a good setup for now, make sure to try to keep your temps around 75-80 and humidity up during veg with good circulation. i suggest investing in a little tiny spray bottle, your babies will love sprays of water during veg.

Please stop the humanity..lol. No I kid I kid...anyway you don't want a whole lot of humidity as it just isn't needed...Plants will grow much much faster if you let them get totally dry between watering...which will never happen if kept wet all the time...
The best tip I can give is to not use MG plant food, and don't water til the tiny pot feels like it might be full of packing peanuts...the soil has to totally dry out between waterings.

Humidy for seedlings is good. Then once it is bigger humidity should be around 50-60% what soil are you using? You will need to add more lights soon. And laying then horizontally will increase the light on the area of the plant.

Sorry just re read and saw ff. what kind of fox farm? Ff soil is normally hot and to hot for seedlings. I would try using a seed starter or soilless without nutes next time

Set the pots in saucers or trays and water (a little at a time) until it comes out the bottom. The soil will soak the water back into the pot from the bottom. Don't let them dry completely, they are too small for that and will shrivel up. Don't over-water but keep them moist. You can just water from the saucers if it works for you- you can tell by picking them up if they are too light and need a drink, better than eye-balling.
Also, incand. lights are never good for growing, and neither are the so-called "gro-lights". Stick with flouro's and cfl's. As mentioned by others, look for the Kelvin rating and use 6500 for veg, 2700 for flower. Get them as close as you can to the Kelvin temp.
