why?
this time because some people are not playing the way others think they should play?
seems kinda' jackbooted to me :peace:

Yeah it's pretty stupid when mods shut down threads. They should just give the trouble makers a time out instead of punishing everybody.. But I've said too much.:shock:


I don't want to get myself banned.. Shhhhh.

Because some people can't play nice, admin closed it since we had to delete so much, the threads get messed up if pages are missing, don't blame admin, lets point our fingers at the true causes ;)

Sorry muffin they seem to target ur threads, boooooo

And leave pages of inappropriate posts? hmmmm no does not seem like the best idea.
Teaching them a lesson lol come on people old enough to post on here should not be acting like out of control children, it's very disappointing to see members tying to humilate each other daily, teasing is one thing, I know how u guys are ;) But some people just go way to far and look like pathetic children seeking attention any way they can. And it's always the same "crew" of people doing this, If I could do more to stop it It I would, no idea how some members are allowed to stay on here and continue the same disgusting behavior daily, meh karma is a smart bitch, yes she is......

Sorry for quoting the same post twice but I have something else to say..

If you kicked out the trouble makers, the thread wouldn't be polluted with pointless arguing. The admin has power to kick out the trouble makers and make the right decision (which is to not close the thread). So I believe it's very fair to blame the admin.

Why do you have to leave the pages with innappropraite posts? Delete the posts and kick out the trouble makers.. Simple fix and you have the power to do that.

Yes teach them a lesson.. They are acting like little children right? Well then treat them like little children. Send them to time out.

Simple.. Ban the trouble makers for a couple of days. Don't close the whole thread. Seems legit to me. Do you see a flaw?

You would think it would teach them a lesson but it doesn't. They come back after the time out even more trollish. We can't ban all the trolls or this would be a pretty lonely place. Trolls are all around us and even some of us can troll with the best of them. Stay above it, ignore them and they seem to dissipate. :D

LOL ya it seems so easy, just ban them and they never come back eh ;) rflmao some members have dozens of accounts ;) see the flaw in ur logic ;)

And the large pockets/pages of "post deleted" lol that is why hep ;)

I didn't say they would never come back. Besides, it's better than closing the thread for everybody and then opening it a few days later. Instead of closing the thread for a few days (which punishes everybody for those few days) why not ban the trolls for a few days (which only punishes them)?

Again, if you kick out the trolls, you wont have pages of pointless arguing to delete.

Lets look at sunny's puppet thread. If you were to take out the trouble makers, then the thread wouldn't be closed and there would still be no fighting.

It is not as easy as it sounds. Proxies make it real hard. They come back under new names and we can not do a thing about it. It sucks yes and we try to get them but there are so many.

Meh for me, it's just the Internet. I've had a couple things deleted because it was taken the wrong way, but the way I see it I don't have the time or energy to get worked up about it. Oh no my post count! Psh. It's just a cool place for me to hang out when I'm bored at work and interact with some pretty fun and interesting characters. While high :)

Here let me explain what I'm saying in a more clear way.

option 1) close the whole thread, which punishes just punishes everybody, and in the end will just lead to the thread being reopened with more trolling.

option 2) Ban the trolls, which only punishes the trolls, and in the end will just lead to the trolls returning to the same thread after a few days.

Admin chooses option 1. I think that's dumb. Either way the trolls will win the war over the thread. So the admin should just punish them and not us.
