time to switch up the routine. today was bicep/legs

back to back squats@115 for 15/20 re
ps then right to 60lb preacher curls for 4 sets. i added an extra set of squats
4 sets of hammer fist
preacher curls at 85lbs for sets of 12
3 sets of 21's with an ez bar at 65lbs usin wide/close/normal gri
p
back to back close gri
p palms in pullups 10-12 reps then to calf raises at 135 for 20-30 reps for 4 sets
lastly 3 sets of hammer fist ro
pe curl 70lbs for 4-6 reps

cant wait till tomorrow chest an abs yayyyyyyyy. i really hate bench! lol

today was chest/abs an it was a pretty good one

started off with leg lifts knee to chest 6 middle, 6 left, 6 right 3 sets
4 sets of cable flys 2 sets were normal other 2 were from a lower angle an came u
p at 50lbs
4 sets of incline bench 135 for two sets first set i did 10 the second 12 then weight went u
p to 155 for the last two. third set was 10 reps forth 8 reps
3 sets of cable crunches(grab the ro
pe an move away from the machine. get in your knees an do a crunch head to the floor) 10 middle, 10 left, 10 right at 70lbs
4 sets db flys with 35lb db re
ps went like this 10,12,10,12 with the 10 rep sets i focused more on the squeeze at the top
4 sets of bench at 185lbs re
ps per set went like this 6,5,5,4

i shoulda did more abs but ima just add that to thursday. they way i work the abs in is i start off with one set then i did two sets of cable flys then another set of abs then 2 more cable flys then another set of abs an i do this with each workout till abs are done.

i was gonna do some 100m s
prints/burpees but my legs are pretty damn sore from yesterday so ima leave that alone till tomorrow. plus i just took my 4th drug test an IM FINALLY CLEAN! yes now i can get a damn job lol ima take tonight off.

had to bunch it together due to floodin yesterday

worked legs an shoulders first
1 set of squats at 135 for 15 re
ps
2 sets of shoulder
presses at 135 for 10,12 reps
1 set of calf raises/shrugs at 135 for 20 re
ps each
2 sets shoulder
presses at 155 for 8 reps
1 set squat at 205 for 10 re
ps
2 sets front shoulder raises w/25lb db for 10 re
ps each arm
1 set calf raises/shrugs at 135 for 20 re
ps each
2 sets front shoulder raises w/25lb db for 10 reps each arm
4 sets leg extensions with 45lbs at 15 reps
back to back sets leg curls/upright rows for 4 sets each. leg curls at 45lbs for 12-15 reps an upright rows 2 sets with 95lbs for 12 reps 3/4th sets at 115 for 8,10 reps
4 sets tricep rope pulldown 70lbs for 15 reps

had me a cyto gainer shake an waited 2 an a half hours for the next workout

1 set ab leg lifts knee to chest 10 middle, 10 left, 10 right
2 sets skull crushers/reverse skull crushers at 70lbs 10 re
ps each grip
1 set ab leg lifts repeated
2 sets skull crushers/reverse repeated
back to back ab leg pushdowns/close grip bench. pushdowns as always 10 middle, 10 left, 10 right. close grip at 135 for first two sets 12,10 reps last two at 155 for 10 reps
did abs 3 sets an close grip for 4 sets
last but not least
4 sets of thrusters (front squat then shoulder
press) at 75lbs 10-12 each set dependin on how many i could get
then 3 sets of ab rollers 8-10 reps

tomorrow the ufc fights are on so in s
pirit ima throw the ole gloves on an hit the punchin bag 30 seconds of combos on an 30 seconds rest for atleast 10 minutes. if i can go longer i will but i doubt that lol.

Dude, I just got over bein' sick with some crazy mild form of bronchitis or some shit, I don't even know... I was hacking up shit for 3 days. I went to the track today feelin' pretty good, did the push ups and sit ups, all the normal stuff, felt good, then went to run, HOLY SHIT! I couldn't finish 1 lap! I was drained of energy at the end of the first lap. Like fuckin' completely drained, it was a really weird feeling... I'm thinking I'll try it again tomorrow and see what's up, but damn, that sucked..

Good job though man, you're stayin' pretty consistent, that's the key.

What's the fattest you've ever been? Have you ever experienced being average or overweight? Why do you work out?

blazinkill... we used to call em suicides, start 150 work your way to 240 only adding 10lbs more per rep.. then back down to 150 by 10lbs's each time..
or just do yerself some pushup's.. with a deck of cards lol, ace's= 15 pushups each.. all face cards= 10 pushups each and the numbered cards are what they are, so draw 2 cards.. could be like 5 pushups or 30.. way i started was draw 2 at a time... if the numbers too low just draw another and add it up.. a deck a day keeps the doctors away... i do this daily just get creative with your pushups, ive been doing it with my feet on a chair and my hands on the floor in a diamond lately, seems to really work the core

ive never been fat in my life my problem is bein very very skinny. before i started trainin again i was at like 130 at the lowest prolly woulda been lower if i didnt force myself to eat then. ive been very average an i couldnt stand it. the feelin of not havin the power to do damage to someone if need be without a weapon. thats why i workout cause if i have an issue with someone i want to be able to put them to sleep very quickly. thats my main goal for the weights i push around! an just to do some sort of physical activity as thats how we're genetically made to do to stay healthy. so i workout for me to be healthy an to make someone un healthy if i have to. lol the figure is just a good bonus.

srh88 what movement do you say for the suicide? squats? i stick to doin my crossfit workouts on weekends which have me doin a whole shit load of pushups. i might try the card thing one day when i feel like blowin my chest out an i cant get to my friends house to train.

pushups get a lil too borin to me i like the bar an weight i just wish i had bands to put on the bars to work on my explosiveness.

the suicides are benching.. by the time you are about 3/4's of the way through it youll feel like youre gonna die haha.. i thought push ups were boring too.. then i learned doing pushups with a deck of cards was fun... its like gambling haha, youll do a set of like 40 pushups then pull a couple aces and be like fuuuuuck

The most important part of your health is what you put into your body, second part is being active, fighting off all that insane shit! Fuck cancer, diabetes, heart disease! Gotta keep your shit healthy at all costs! Which, I hate to admit, makes me weary of smoking so much weed.. I know it's straight up killing my lungs, I just like it so much, and believe it enhances certain other parts of myself at the same time, so it's kind of a give/take relationship... I guess we'll know for sure in 20-30 years...

a whole deck would suck lol if you do that every day you're gonna do the same amount everyday if you use the whole deck which would be hundreds. id rather just bench than do pushups for hours. i might do the card thing with the dude i train with like how we use to play battle when we was kids. that would be pretty tight!

pad i dont want any of that shit either thats why i try to eat as clean as possible an just hope i dont have any genetic shit thats gonna make me catch somethin! i thought the same thing but it eased my mind when i got a steam roller. i noticed that when the smoke is in there the only place that turns black an nasty is where the smoke is directly bein pulled down. so i hope...key word hope thats the only part bein badly damaged is the back of my throat. the rest has some resinish but hardly nothin. thats not our lungs an for years tho lol. as soon as i can cook it all the time or have enough to vape all the time ima do that for damn sure. with the occasional bong/gas mask session.bongsmilie

Back at it, had a decent workout yesterday, finally over whatever lung shit was going on. I still don't know wtf it was or how I got it. I got hammered one night and went to sleep and woke up feeling congested or something, 3 days of coughing, 3 more days of fatigue.. damn.

I'm gonna change around my diet a little bit, I want to burn a little more fat a little bit faster if I can. What would you guys recommend, quick sprint intervals, high weight/low rep, right? That's what I hear burns a lot of fat. I'm also really interested in increasing stamina and endurance too though, so maybe do sprints and stuff more often than the longer distance runs..

And stop munching late at night.

do you count your calorie intake? keeping an eye on your calories and how much your burning off will help you in your goal to burn more fat. but the sprint intervals is awesome to get in top cardiovascular shape.

thats what i did monday night...well i wouldnt call it a sprint, but i was runnin way faster than i normally do an when i got tired it slow jog/walk for a lil bit of the mile an then start with the quick pace again. i also for the last .10 miles ran backwards which is a hell of a burn for your legs. i aslo found that when i stopped eatin carbs late at night an stick to more protein its been helpin a bit with the bodyfat. i still try to limit what i eat at night, but when i do its protein. the diet also will help a lot if you eat a lot of sugar/starch an fat stuff. i try to eat all the fatty stuff in the mornin for energy an so i can burn it off through the day. i always thought high weight/low rep was for strength. what id say to do is find a weight that is around 60-70% of your max an do that as much as you can an keep your workouts that way with little rest in between sets. thats really how i burn my fat as i havent been runnin much at all an diet diet diet.

I recommend insanity from beachbody. Ive been doing it for 3 months now in the best shape of my life. It's pure cardio for almost an hr straight im some videos so it's not for everyone. But you get results guaranteed.
