Nashville Career Advancement Center (NCAC)

Description: NCAC works with job seekers and employers to provide a skilled workforce for the Metropolitan Nashville Area as part of the Tennessee Career Centers. Career Centers are a one-stop resource for the job seeker looking to find employment or a higher paying position and for employers recruiting qualified candidates. Services include:
- Career Coaches who work with individuals to explore career options, decide on a direction, target a career or industry, then strategize and market oneself for the job search
- Resource Centers offering computers with Internet access, copy and fax machines, telephones, and career resource materials
- Weekly training sessions where job seekers receive information and career coaching from Middle Tennessee employers and hiring managers as well as the NCAC career coaches
- Networking opportunities for job seekers to connect with other job seekers and area employers
- Workshops on resume writing, job searching and interviewing.
- Assessments to assist in determining industry preferences or types of jobs to pursue.
