I was planning on using this soil mix as soon as my plants are big enough to take cuttings, which will be sometime in the next two weeks. I have some blood meal around the house from my last grow, but I went ahead and bought some high nitrogen bat guano as a substitution. If you have a bit of time, I will let you know how it goes when I get the clones vegging. Blood meal really grosses me out. The smell of it is indescribably disgusting. Also, it attracts animals (which is not good if you are doing an outdoor grow). It drives my cat crazy. Also, unlike most other organic ferts, blood meal will easily burn your plants. Hopefully, the guano won't be as hot. So, if you would like an update, I would be more than happy to give my opinion on the substitution in a couple weeks.Hey sub i was wondering what the ratios were for some of the stuff you use are. For the Bat guano you said bloom formula so i was going to get Sunleaves Indonesian Bat Guano (0.5-12-0.2) or Sunleaves Jamaican Bat Guano (1-10-0.2). Is that about what youre using? and i noticed Peace of Mind Steamed Bone Meal (3-15-0) is also very high in P. Are those two close to what youre using? And as for the Blood meal im having a hard time finding it, can i just use Sunleaves Mexican Bat Guano (10-2-1) instead and get the same results? Or should i order some blood meal online?
