I'm not using co2 right now but I was wondering if its really worth the extra cost of running A/C. is there a big difference in yield and/or quality?
Hey Blunt !!!I'm not using co2 right now but I was wondering if its really worth the extra cost of running A/C. is there a big difference in yield and/or quality?
Increasing co2 will help your growth in abundance. An increase of co2 over an ambient level of 360 parts per million increases greater resistance to heat stress, and other forms of stress. Better growth at lower light levels and improved root to top levels. Nursery men have been using it for over 100 years, it's proven.I'm not using co2 right now but I was wondering if its really worth the extra cost of running A/C. is there a big difference in yield and/or quality?
an extra 3-4 ounces on how big of a room? and your saying you don't have air cooled hoods and no A/C right? if so how high are your temps? cause I thought you would need to run an A/C to keep down the temps in a sealed room.everybody keeps talking about exchanging air, not needed. plants need water, food, light and co2. not fresh air. i have an extremely sealed room with no venting, no air cooling and a co2 generator. an extra 3-4oz every three week harvest is a lot of added income. how much does a qp go for where you are? here that is enough to pay for all my co2equipment in one harvest.
that is an extra 3-4oz per 12 plant harvest every 3 weeks in a 6'x10' room running 3 seperate systems totalling 36 plants. i never said i didnt have ac, of course i have ac, its a sealed room. my temps are where i put them, 80-81 on and 66 off. i never had ventilation for my room, it was purpose built. i ran this room for close to 20 months without adding co2 so i could make sure i had temps, humidity, nutes, and strains dialed in, then i added co2. the only change was adding co2 and it was a visable difference.an extra 3-4 ounces on how big of a room? and your saying you don't have air cooled hoods and no A/C right? if so how high are your temps? cause I thought you would need to run an A/C to keep down the temps in a sealed room.
also did you run your room with just ventalation before you sealed it to come up with an extra 3-4 OZ just by adding co2?
Sounds like you could use some help trimming! I'll bring my own fiskar micro tips and some Widow!that is an extra 3-4oz per 12 plant harvest every 3 weeks in a 6'x10' room running 3 seperate systems totalling 36 plants. i never said i didnt have ac, of course i have ac, its a sealed room. my temps are where i put them, 80-81 on and 66 off. i never had ventilation for my room, it was purpose built. i ran this room for close to 20 months without adding co2 so i could make sure i had temps, humidity, nutes, and strains dialed in, then i added co2. the only change was adding co2 and it was a visable difference.
