I've always heard that hydro produces less yield but higher potency... is this rubbish???
Go 600 watt, its pretty hard to achieve 1g/watt and with a 400 watt even if you achieved 1g/w you'll still come up short.
Its the other way around, Higher yield less potent (is what they say)
Actually its higher yield I use to grwo hydro and you just get overall rapid growth. Now the end product depending on the strain can be hot or so so. Some strains were meant for hydro others are not. Potency nah depnds on grower and strain bot really if its hydro or soil. Now if it was outdoor and indoor your comparing..Indoor grows have a tendeency to be more stronger than outdoor ones.
That would be tough to do but not impossible ive seen some really awesome journals from a single 400 watt hps.
the ac unit actually alternates only running for about 15 minutes every 30-45 minutes. and i do have a fan built in that runs all 12 hours it does.
Wow! thats news to me...and my girls. Seems to be the other way around here. My light config. draws fresh air from outside and exhaust back to the outside. In the summer it is drawing hot air but in the winter they are drawing -30 C. or colder. The air is so cold in the winter that in the morning just before lights on my first 2 hoods closest to the intake are all frosted up, including the bulbs. Never had an issue, no popped bulbs, nothing but goodness, in fact the cold weather brings bigger bounties consintently
if youve got a little extra income, the best advice i was given is to go ahead and get yourself good materials and suplys.
