FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A teacher at Fresno's Hoover High School bailed out of the Fresno County Jail Tuesday after being arrested on sex charges involving a minor student.

Megan Denman, 29, is a social sciences teacher at the Northeast Fresno campus. She has since been placed on paid administrative leave.
Tuesday evening, Denman's face was covered as she walked out of jail. In a press release, the Fresno Police Department said teacher was booked on one count of sex with a minor and two counts involving sexual acts.
In the statement, Fresno Unified Superintendent Michael Hanson acknowledged cases of inappropriate student/teacher relationships in other parts of the state. He then went on, "Unfortunately, we have learned of an alleged inappropriate relationship between a teacher and student in our own district. Words cannot describe my deep disappointment in this alleged breach of teacher/student relationship," said Hanson.
At this point, Fresno Police have found no evidence of other victims or that any illegal activity happened on campus.

The Fresno Bee newspaper reports that 26-year-old Nadia Christine Diaz was arrested Thursday on charges of sex with a minor and oral copulation.
Diaz had been working full-time as a social science teacher at Fresno's Washington Union High School.
Fresno County Sheriff's officials say Diaz and the teenager had sexual relations twice off campus in January and February 2009 when she was working as a substitute teacher at the school.
The student was 14 at the time.
Diaz is out on bail. She has been placed on administrative leave at the school.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff's Office at 559-488-3111 or 559-488-3475.

when i was in 8th grade, we had an english teacher, her 1st year out of college.. complete knockout, before teaching she was a hooters chick.. low cut shirts and no bra, i looked forward to that class everyday

If you're in a position of authority you shouldn't be banging your subordinates, especially if they aren't old enough to vote, let alone make a good decision.

I know us guys think back to that time when we would have stuck our dick in a light socket if we thought it would feel good, but the truth is, hormones affect girls too. I guess maybe they are not quite so sex driven at that point, but that doesn't mean some aren't and most aren't at least thinking about it a lot and probably wanking at that point.

i'm not really sure on my reasoning tbh.. i think the fact that a female can get pregnant and a male can't could play a role in it, idk...
plus i'd the chance of it being forced or more pressured on a female over a male would play a part in it too..
