I read you can but it will be the same age as the plant you took it from. I'm new but I've been doing my research. Hope this is helpful.

You're barking up a dead tree tbh, the ruderalis influence (which is what makes them auto) are one hit wonder plants, they grow fast, mature fast, but when its over, its over. Thats why cloning is good on normal plants, as they give and give and give, auto's give and are gone. To clone an auto you'd need to take the clones when the main plant was super young, putting both at risk. The odds of the clone rooting and flowering are the flip of a coin. Waste of time and effort in doing so.

Ya, this is what i mean.. one single plant. clone of a lowrider hashplant auto. we had a few that year. grown outdoors, guerilla style. think i got 3/4 Z dry/cured off each one oudoor. was a very herby flavor, fantastic smoke really. course it was a few years ago. I call it the football...

I looked, but cant find any pics of it trimmed up.

Not advised as well as making an auto a mother then taking clones. Auto strains have a predetermined life span encoded in them due to the Ruderalis influence.
